    Just commenting as an engineer on Jessie's seriously good fabrication skills, recreating a complicated part from 90 years ago when you only have a single somewhat worn and corroded part to work from requires top of the line skills, you are so lucky to have people with such skills in your workshop

    I finally figured it out , the crew are fabrication wizards, but instead of wands, they use a mig welder . It's great to see you guys back after the holidays. Work safe and keep the videos coming. Bless you all for your restoration work.

    I have been watching these videos for a while. Impressive is a vast understatement. Cheers to the entire staff for preserving history and in a very real fashion bringing it back in no small degree. I do not know if I will ever make it to Australia, but if I ever do, your museum will be my first stop.

    I really enjoyed watching Jesse fabricating something quite complex. He has an exceptional skill set. As an old retired tradie, I saw and respect his calm approach. I'm wondering if a plasma cutter would make life easier for him.

      Roy, I to was wondering where their plasma cutter was? I'm not sure if I have seen one in the workshop. Once you have one, you wonder how you ever got by beforehand! 😅
      Sure there is the oxy-axe but who wants to lug gas bottles around and have to bother with turning things on and off?

    I’ve often read that machinery built by the German people prior to and during the 2nd World War was engineered to the maximum, just watching Jessie fabricating the suspension units shows how difficult it would have been back then without the technology of today, Jessie you are a fantastic engineer well done, as are all of the T A A A M fabricators and restorers also Kirt for the excellent filming and editing of this awesome series

    Just flew back to Melbourne from Cairns today. Was up at Port Douglas and did intend to get to the museum but unfortunately due to the Captain Cook Highway still being closed we ran out of time to get there. Looks like I will need to make a special trip to Cairns and spend a few days dedicated to your museum. Love your work!

    As a person who designs and fabricates tracked robots, both teams have phenomenal fabrication abilities coupled with extreme dedication for accuracy. Love watching the work as a person who studied German armor from a design perspective.

    What a very good episode this week all. Jesse you are a top notch fabricator mate, just as everyone showcased in these Workshop Wednesday videos working for the Aus Armour Museum are. That suspension unit is a work of art, and reverse engineering and making the missing three units is very hard to do accurately even when you are copying a rusty original. Looking forward to next weeks episode.

    It really is remarkable that all these guys wake up every day to go into a job that is both physically and mentally taxing, yet everyone seems to enjoy the work they do.
    Must be the old adage, "love your job you do and you will never work a day in your life" ❤

    Fabulous fabrication work! Do you guys need any pattern equipment or castings made? The ability to keep the patterns and reproduce multiple parts would be a key part of the restoration of certain parts I’d imagine!
    Still making patterns to this day in Australia and work is picking up nicely. Some great foundries down here too

    So close to a perfect narration! But Kurt calls the restoration for a "Panzer IV B" just at the end 18:50. Great episode with minor flub.
