- Among the many farms in Minecraft, the spider farm can be used for many things. Wool, string, potions, it's endless. However, to make them it might seem difficult. This video simplifies how to make the farm in under a minute!

Tip use open fence gates along the opposite side where the water flows so when spiders climb the walls they will drown so you don’t lose efficiency.

At this point I'd rather make a mob fram , bones , bows are useful too, gunpowders are useful too, rotten flesh are useful too , here the least useful thing is a string , you'll never need more than a stack of spider eyes , strings are kinda useful for scaffoldings but you won't b needing 10 stacks of scaffoldings or use it for lightning purposes that's it
its more for easy game xp

You should not make the spawn chamber these dimensions, 13x13 in width and 4 in height is the most efficient for a spider farm, just make sure to have the spawner in the center but at the 3rd block up from the floor so that there's a 1 block gap between it and the ceiling. If you use his dimensions you will be digging more to get less rates because if one attempted spawn fails the whole pack fails and you will have to wait at least 10 more seconds for the next pack.
Also above the spawner use a tripwire to detect spiders spawning on top of the spawner block, and have that activate a water stream which washes the spiders out.
Finally do not light up the caves. Spawner rates can only drop if within a 9x9x9 area around the spawner, there exist 3 or more mobs from the spawner itself. They also function independently of the mob cap so if you had it full, the spawner farm would have the same rates.

You can make a pillager farm without the spawner bur the outpost spawns pillagers everyday so you can get a lot of crossbows

If you want to do it with cave spiders, I suggest above the hoppers and slabs, do blocks instead! They won’t climb up!

they are cave spiders and yes it can work but there are better designs since that spider is slightly smaller than a regular one

Yes but they can get stuck there so it’s blocked
