Definitely. Krown Rust Control does the same thing with the drilling holes to spread oil in the body panels. Lots of their new shops have recently opened in Michigan, which means we might finally see some more trucks that can actually remain rust free.

Yup! Looks like this truck visited Krown at some point!
      Great company.

      Maybe I'm just really bored.
I'd love to rip apart a lot of the craigslist and Facebook listings that I see, not to mention those on ih8mud, but I'm afraid I would make too many enemies.

The cool box was only available starting from 2009 as part of the luxury package. Easiest way to tell is to look for the luxury package wood trim.
    Thanks for all you do!

Hi everyone! We own this LX570.
All pricing you’ve mentioned is CAD dollars.
Appreciate this in-depth look at our Lexus.
Want to clear up a few things mentioned.
    1. We hire out 100% of our marketing / photography. It’s super strange why this company photoshopped that image mentioned. Someone else also pointed that out as well. We just send the photos over to whichever auction our cars are listed. Our mistake for missing this one.
For absolute transparency- We’ve also posted Cell Phone pics of the Lexus on cars and bids showing exactly how the truck look from all angles from previous photos we did.
    2. All pre purchase inspections are absolutely encouraged and welcome.
    3. Posted a undercarriage video so you can see more of it.
If you’re considering this Lexus reach out and let us know any high resolution videos or photos you need. If you want to send it to a LEXUS dealer for a PPi reach out.
We have only good intentions with our marketing and apologize if someone thought we are trying to hide something. We are not.
Our reserve is in the low 20’s USD so you are spot on.
    Thanks again for the review!

We have just uploaded a video of the air ride functioning as it should. The photographer shot the LX on the lower setting (again unsure why).
However rest assured it works as it should. No leaks. No sagging. We have recently serviced the system.

15K.... both C&B and the seller got this wrong with a high reserve. Hopefully this is a lesson for future sellers if they are selling a frost-belt LC/LX so they won't waste their time

Did Toyota's lack of rustproofing in 2004-09 affect the LC frames as well?

    • @thelandcruiserproject
      @thelandcruiserproject  Před 11 měsíci

LCs and LXs are affected to a lesser extent than Tacomas and Tundras. I understand it more to be a steel issue than a rustproofing issue. Do you have more to add to that?
