  • For the year, the mileage is high, but this 2015 LX570 represents the culmination of the pre-facelift LX570. The seller is likely going to take a depreciation hit and that's exactly where you want to buy.

      Haha. "Sold for $40,000" Go back to the post-sale comments. The buyer bounced when some comments cropped up stating he overplayed and the seller listed this elsewhere. C&B has a bunch of clowns and posers who bluff high bids and then vanish when it comes time to pay. BaT has a much more established and serious buyer base.

      When? Seeing 2015s in the south running at $36k minimum under 100k miles… seems like you got an obscene deal. To get around $30k you need to go above 100k miles.

      @@smody121Bought it a couple months back. To give more context, the seller had posted on FB marketplace describing issues with the suspension and transmission. When I ran a carfax, it also showed it had rear structural damage. The seller lent me the car for half a day where I had my mechanic do a bumper-to-bumper PPI. Among other things... we found the AHC fluid and accumulator globes needed replacement. We couldn't find any rear structural damage (bc all factory welds were intact) which led to calling the Lexus dealership -> then the body shop that did the work. Ended up being all cosmetic... nothing structural. So I negotiated down and picked it up for $30K : )

    Old news…. the supposed dropping of the full-sized LC brought about a market value inversion precisely b/c TLC owners tend to keep their vehicles, thus the predicted scarcity of resale supply vs resale demand…. Compared to relatively high # of preowned Lexus LX570s available (owners seem to be many multi-vehicle households, thus low mileage LX models are readily available as the mom drivers decide to upgrade to some new version of a similar $100k SUV….) I bought a 2019 LX570, CPO, w/ just 10k miles, from a local Lexus dealer wherein the doctor that owned it, had it at his family’s ski chalet in Aspen, barely used over the 4 yrs of ownership and decided to trade it for a 2023 LX600 upgrade….

    Interesting viewpoint on alot of the details. I really prefer the LX570 over the LC200. Far more capable and comfort IMO.

      Thanks for the comment and I largely agree. I like the LC styling a bit more, but the LX570 is an amazing vehicle, no doubt.

      @@thelandcruiserproject I've had both over the years. It's just a better built vehicle. Unless I just wanted the LC front end, I would always go with the LX570. Now the 80 series, I prefer the LC, something about the LX450 seats, I prefered the LC80 seats for some reason

    • @thelandcruiserproject
      @thelandcruiserproject  Před rokem +1

      I'll make a video - stay tuned! Short answer is to create an account at the Toyota/Lexus owner's website and add a vehicle using the VIN to your profile, and then see the vehicle repair history.

    There is a very large population of sikh people in the Northern Cali area, especially around Sacramento. I would guess the license plate is a word play on their cultural identity and their Lexus ownership.
