Bart: "Phil Ivey's looking a bit disinterested and keeps walking away to check his phone"
Also Bart: "So, they're playing with half a million dollar effective stacks"
he prob bets 500k on each prop bet on the side lol
Love the black out so we can play from hero’s perspective. It’s so hard to remove all bias when you can see the hands
My accuracy goes way down when I can't see opponents whole cards
@@rickybelcher1441 *hole cards 🤨
Yes, more blacked out hands please! Thanks for another great video Bart
What made him legendary was his drive, his focus on winning, not his gto or technical play... he became rich and lost his drive... Still doesn't change the fact he's one of the best players that ever lived
He’s consistently winning the toughest tournaments in the world.
And bart is complete trash fake pro just like Matt Berkey. I guarantee Ivey would never ask Bart for advice
@@michaelgarza2569 consisently winning toughest tournaments in the world? name me one 10k+ online tournament he's won in last 5 years. haha.
Lol 30 minutes of Bart roasting Phil Ivey, love it
@@Gos1234567, lol. Ivey is overrated. Nowadays, top poker players run circle on Ivey
Definitely isn't roasting him. But yeah...Phil making correct fold on the turn after making top pair and top kicker... totally roasted
The over bet by Andy works great vs recreational players but not vs pros. And Ivey is well on his way to being an OMC.
I appreciate this channel, Its a must watch for me. Great work👍👍
Great vid. Deffo keen to see more player breakdowns
Yes Bart I like the blacked out hands, I definitely get more decisions wrong when I can't see the other players hole cards
thanks for putting this together, Bart. Appreciate all your talking, commentary and CLP discourse. I don't have anyone credible to talk poker with so it's nice to have you crystalize a lot of thoughts, feelings, ideas that I share and new ones as well.
But his analysis is always backwards and wrong
@@boomshakalaka8655 example(s) please - if you wrote that he *sometimes* gets it wrong I'd think maybe you knew something, but Bart 'always' gets it backwards? AND wrong? Maybe there is somebody who gets it backwards and right?
Love this video. Bart please do more this.
Ivy so good with the overbets on the river, love to see it.
I love the blackout like most, my only wish is for hustlers to actually let the chat vote for a player and we can do it for a few of their hands, also what would be even betterr if every player had a seperate stream with the cards blacked out so we could watch whoever we wanted ! thanks bart good analysis !
How would the cheaters get paid then?
Great fold by Ivey. Recognized the situation and had the discipline to lay it down. Andy made that bet because he is thinking exactly like you are Bart. Ivey is just a level ahead.
Ivey is overrated. Nowadays, top poker players run circle on Ivey.
Sounds like Ivey needs to take Bart’s poker course to plug some leaks in his game. LMAO.
Been bored w HLC lately, will tune in to see Bart play tho
Really cool type of content
I think the reason Phil raised Eric on the river is because back door flushes are rare. And with those last 3 hearts the size of Eric's bet is suspicius. It's like he's trying to rep a flush rather than actually having one. And when do people do that? When they're weak. Any normal marginal hand would either check or bet small so he thinks a raise might actually get a fold.
Everyone thinks he bluffs, but Ivey was ahead of his time back in the day with his laydowns.
U mean chip Reese? Ivey makes same lay downs as any other grinder.
Looking sharp bro
Good content!
Great video. Not afraid of speaking the truth.
since phil is clearly playing a massively exploitative style, very often making big deviations because of his reads and assumptions about his villain’s ranges, I think it would have been interesting to explore the assumptions he’d be making to justify his plays. For example, in folding the AK on turned As, he is likely thinking that Andy is so value-heavy when he snap bets 150%, so it would have been interesting here to explore what Phil likely believes Andy’s range is, and what degree of accuracy he needs to make this fold. Seems like one for a node-locking analysis
Bart never made close to money Ivey made In holdem
@@boomshakalaka8655
Hasn't Ivey lost lots of money playing on poker shows?
@@HopyHop1 Ivey has about 45x the live tournament winnings as bart totalling over 44 million dollars placing him 11th on the all time money list. In fact this month alone he has cashed 2.2 million dollars. He just doesnt play a ton of cash and plays very exploitatively
@@stealthyfang3660
What's your source? According to the High Roll Poker website Ivey is stuck almost $1.3 million. I think that website only tracks recorded shows though.

Love the blackouts
Ive cool when you black out the hands. Makes it more entetainting
Maybe Phil raised with flush playing on his image he established that play vs Eric.
Looking sharp, Bart. Nice shirt and you got your hair looking good as well. Top job.
Agreed. Hair is lookin' clean, and that shirt looks nice and cozy.
Sorry guys, Bart likes women.
@@wesgrubbs8437 That's great for him, so do I. I'm confident enough in my heterosexuality to compliment another gentleman when he looks dapper.

Good content. Good Analysis. Headed to Parx soon for free money.
its weird sometimes i swear old school goats like Ivey dont really care that much anymore. they played so much and won so much. but unlike in regular sports where age forces you into retirement here you can go on forever and its difficult to find new goals
where do I get the CLP merch? can't seem to find it anywhere
Very very very very good video
in the second hand not sure the 7 is such a brick, as ryusuke can potentially now hold all the two pairs as well as pocket 7s. same argument can be made for a 2 brick but he’s less likely to have K2o, 92o than K7o and 97o
Compelling analysis as always
U guys are fish if u think his analysis is good
I have a Tight image at the room I play at. I love to play lean into it. I will play a few hands Incredibly face up. But I ALWAYS try a few Large Bluffs and a lot of small ones. I never show, and rarely get called. There are a few players that have caught on.
Did you say front door hearts ?
Bart when is the Phil Ivey documentary going to be released?
Bart so break down what you think think of these stats, not just of Phil but of the better players in general. Garrett I think was around 40%...is this just a function of trying to create action/excitement on stream or having such a large edge post? I couldn't imagine VPIP- ing over even 30% but not only is GMan and others doing it, they're winning.
If you are going to have a high VPIP you better be able to play well post flop. Garrett and a few others can while others... not so much. If a player has an advantage over most of the rest of the table and plays well post flop, there is no reason not see more hands
Ivey donked off his chips lol
Lol. Ivey is overrated
save u guys 20 min, bart says ivey sucks at poker
Ivey is overrated.
Second like. Welcome back to NE Bart, hope to see you in Foxwoods sometime. Thanks for all the content!
Wow Phil Ivy try to bluff n raised $110. With his AQ SOADE TO J HEARTS
GOOD LUCK TONIGHT KING
MOAR card blackout hands!!
black out is the greatest format. like. like. like
The flush over flush hand - I think I disagree with your analysis that Ivey should not be raising the river. How often does he get to that spot with air and we all think "Ryusuke's never folding a straight, 2 pair, or set . Ivey should just give up."? Doesn't that mean it's a raise? I think Ivey can absolutely get called by worse hands. He can also get called by better, which sucks for him. But you have to value own yourself sometimes, or you're just not raising enough imo. Yes, Ryusuke is not the loosest player. He did have a high VPIP but didn't seem like a blaster. So, his river lead shows more strength than others. But Ivey also has years worth of aggressive advertising that should open up Ryusuke's bet-call range. JMHO
We all think ""Ryusuke's never folding a straight, 2 pair, or set ." ermm do we?Not really sure anyones thinking that apart from you bro
Original 🐐and the only 🐐
Phil’s history on this show is that when I gets in a hand and he gets torched pretty much like vs gal with the aces
Does bart get staked or fund himself?
It’s almost as if TAG stats go hand in hand with making one’s living in poker for 25 years.
Review mikkis pocket 10s hand ;)
Bart about to hit Hakkasan after this episode lol
Help me understand why Phil betting the turn in the 7♣️6♣️ hand is better than checking back. I feel I would be checking back there a lot.
because you are better 🤣
Hey Bart how about a heads up match between you and Ivey. My money is on Ivey
Bart where are you based out of? You must have said it a million times and I just never caught it
the orginal G.O.A.T. of poker is Doyle Brunson, son
I think that AK lay down was a good laydown, sets and flushes had Ivey drawing dead
The overbet gave it away
I agree with a lot of this analysis and think, honestly, Bart would have played the hands better than Ivey did. However I do disagree with his comments on Phil's fold. That's a GREAT fold. I understand solver's are going to want to call that A on the turn you are at the top of your range and flushes are rare. But what you have to consider is WHY is your opponent leading out for this amount (over betting the pot?). When a hand like AK is such a big part of IVey's range (Any strong A). What does it accomplish? If it were some other small spade then he could be bluffing the flush as it's easier for Ivey to fold.
But do you really want to rely on the ability of your opponent to make a disciplined fold? Andy's strong enough to know a fold would be hard for Ivey here so that size makes no sense unless he actually has the flush.
Goddamn Bart where’d you get that shirt
It's a robe.
Yo what’s that jacket?
Ivey Ivey ivey
Blackouts are interesting
How much u think wpt paid him??
u notice Bart keeps saying: this hand blublublu. did he really think Ivey make decisions mainly on his hole card like the callers on the show....?
Why only losing hands? Did he win any hands?
I think Phil might have been looking to bluff with the 6c7c. He already got caught, so maybe told himself he'd get more credit. Just the wrong table for all that. The plays looked dumb to us, sure. Maybe they just were, who knows.
Ivey admittingly has transformed his life. He is proud to finally be boring he said. Lost a marriage, lost borgata case. Missing wsop few times. He is a sports gambling addict and with the postle stuff and now silly robby stuff. The sports gamblers that play poker will not play until the sports games are over.
make a hu vs ivey
I love crush live.
I hate editor spoiling everything in beginning of the video
I used to watch and admire Phil Ivey play in HSP growing up but I gotta admit he played pretty badly over here. He was just a shadow of his former self. Perhaps the stakes could be too small for him.
Ivey is overrated. Nowadays, top poker player run circle on ivey
Good luck 🍀 today
What was that raise on the river?? It looks as he just learned to play poker!
But the other 90% of times when Person doesn’t make the runner runner flush and has air, it’s a genius move 🤔
Bart, what the fook are you wearing?
Looks comfy af to be honest
I'm not the best at analyzing hands but I can confidently say that Phil has 10 fingers
Bart, how about we examine Marco Rubio and Donald Trumps hands next.
Eric was also open ended.
Barts shirt doe
Yah, not Phil's finest work. With the 7 high flush hand I can't imagine what hand he beats that's calling his river raise.
with the andy hand, he donking the turn is such a bad play, I would check raise all day and oarts point about weak Ax folding or being scared out is pointless as those hand would just x river so you get more value by x raising.
Hart Banson
"Like" for blackout
Thought stu unger was the original goat
The "if you call turn with a medium hand and then river bricks you HAVE to call again" is illogical and can be easily exploited as V can just never bluff and value bet relentlessly.
Problem is you don't get value hand that often
Amazing to me that pros still try to bluff Person, who by everything I see , Is a gianoroumous calling station.
Shouldve couldve, wouldv'e is easy when you can see both players cards
Isn’t Stu Unger the OG GOAT??
Doyle is the goat period
Yes. Stu Ungar the goat
Pro with a fake bump trying to get a read on AK hand. I think it’s a borderline angle shooter.
So the way to beat Phil Ivey is to make a flush
You might not know anything about preflop but you know how to dress Bart!
Lol well I’ll be waiting for your channel
content idea: black out Monday’s
Want to like the video but it's at a Magic number of likes so I'll leave a comment instead 🤣
Phil messed up trying to bluff an amateur. Not trying to bluff donks will save you tons. Perssons isn't a thinking player. He's all emo all the time.
Even though Phil has a charmed life, he doesn’t seem to ever be happy or enjoying himself
He's got the mamba mentality
From what I've heard, he's mostly all business in anything competitive but he does like to have a good time especially with no cameras around.
That first hand I think ivey is bored and just wanted to feel something so he bluffed the river. No real strategy there.
Ivey seems like he could not care less about being there which is a bummer.
Mikki playing $250k a hand in Baccarat is sick. Biggest session, just over $11 mil. I know it's off topic, but WOW!!!
Mikki the liar?
his record of play is pretty much confirmed. his track record of success? dubious.
Lol fake news
The Original GOAT??? Who is the GOAT now? I doubt they have anything on Phil Ivey.
Ivey is overrated. Nowadays, top poker players run circles on Ivey.
Do you hate Phil Ivey?
value overbets are becoming quite predictable
Phil who?
Even at double speed this was painfully slow.
