Lisa Kelly is so talented its insane. Her voice is pure bliss, much like Malinda :D I also like Scarborough Fair, Tír na nÓg ft. Oonagh, Téir Abhaile Riú, and Níl Sé'n Lá.

Fun fact about this song: this actually won the 1996 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, performed by Eimear Quinn. Around 10 years later it was covered by Celtic Women - I assume this version is probably more well known but I'm not 100% sure.
I just find it fun that Eurovision and Malinda are kinda mixing together - two things I love
And Eimear's version is imo better than Celtic Woman's. ;)

This song was originally performed by Eimear Quinn and won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1996, it was the last of the seven victories by Ireland in Eurovision and the last in a streak of four victories in five years by Ireland back then. I can't thank you enough. This song has been haunting the fringes of my mind for so long. We sung it as a choir back in high-school and the guitar and strings popped into my head about 2 years ago. I chased the fleeting memory of the song every time I could hold onto it but I never got close. As soon as I heard your melodic voice start it was like the muses finally decided my long travels were done.

I will never forget the time my crush came and put his giant headphones on me and said “I want you to listen to this” and I for the first time in my life listened to this song by Celtic Woman. It was the craziest rush that my ears had ever experienced. I finished the song while he left to the porch. Then I went outside and told him I was in awe. He just stared at me in that quiet fixated way that was so his and told me “your eyes are shining so much”.
I love this lady voice. My newly born puppies do too, when she sings they sit silent and still and listen. The transformation is miraculous lol.
