Ok but we must not assume ever..that faith defies rational thought. Aquinas confirms faith without Rational thinking is superstition and at best in error.
Of course Divine Providence may confirm upon saints, holy people etc and ability to literally levitate etc. These events must always be seen in regard to sanctified grace, personal enlightenment and even test on our faith in God's mystery. They are never to be seen as defiance of logic or rational thinking. We may often not understand how something works but that is a limit on our own understanding... Not upon the revelation of order in the Universe.
