Location: Cathay Pacific Pier First Class Lounge
The Cathay Pacific Pier First Class Lounge is one of two first class lounges in the HKG airport. The other first class lounge is the Cathay Pacific "Wing First Class Lounge". Last time we were at the HKG airport we spent most of our time at The Wing.
This time, we spent the majority of the time enjoying "The Pier". The Wing get a lot of recognition because of it's "relaxation cabanas" and champagne bar, but I think The Pier is a superior lounge!
The Pier offer a much wider menu at the sit-down restaurant, and you can get a free foot massage or back massage! Next time you're in the HKG airport, make sure to set some time aside for visiting The Pier. Also, make sure to put your name in early for a massage!

To answer your question about getting sick of watching you eat? NO. Never. I'm a foodie, so watching everything is like a dream for me. Except the stinky tofu. I'd rather eat pretty much anything else (except, maybe, a Durian, that 3 year old fermented fish specialty from Japan, or any type of insect or anything still alive).

Nate, just think how happy the other 250 pax are who managed to show up, and board on time. All they want is the plane to leave on time... Instead of you and mrs K hearing Boarding complete over the PA you hear: we will have a delay of 20 mins due to two No show who has sent baggage. We will offload their bags now. You must have heard that over the PA during your time in the air. Air vents it looks are extra. I have no clue of what the price is. Let us say U.S $ 2 mill. The airline orders 40 planes. That is only one of many extras the airlines can order. On Ryanair you can not move your seat back. Do the seats have pockets? I know the safety info is a sticker on the seat back in front of you. Know you know! Binge watching here! Love it!

I remembered running for my life in Narita Airport. My flight from San Diego landed around 5pm and my flight to the Philippines started boarding at 5:25pm. I was on the other side of the airport. 😂😂😂

Cabanas are pretty awesome. But I like the pier because it's dark and moody, more relaxing then wing's bright and airy.
How do you get access to these lounges?
A piece of food oprgasm in your mounth doesnt make up for a lost flight. :DD Fancy smancy hotell. :D
Uber is fantastic in Kuala Lumpur. I never paid over $3 for a ride, and usually fares were under $1.50 for a trip that took close to 30 minutes

Hi- I was just wondering, do you have to pay anything towards entry to the lounges? Because I was inspired by you guys and had a look at what my bank offered if you got their special credit card and it said you got lounge access but had to pay £15 to actually get in. Thanks!
