the ironing might have taken so long because you're supposed to keep the iron in place and really press it down for a while instead of moving it ! regardless the jeans turned out really nice, i think i will invest in a cricut machine in the future as well lol

I RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO THE JEANS AGAIN BUT WITH MORE ANIME, AND TRY THE OTHER METHODS LIKE USING SHARPIES, BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE THE MACHINE AND I WANTED TO MAKE IT PLISSSSSSSSS!
You can find a lot of other youtubers that used other methods too! They're really popular, I know I've seen super Rae dizzle do them too

Ranma 1/2 was also my first manga! i've only read the up to the 11th one (my dad only owns the first five, and the public library had a gap between the 11th one and the 16th or 17th one) but i loved it!

For the first hack you did, paper matters. I paint large areas with this method and using proper watercolor paper works the best. I use 100% cotton paper and never had the issues you had even with cellulose paper.
Its still a ¨hack¨ that makes things worse than just wetting the paper and painting it normally.
@@estoton0036 It depends on technique. The ‘hack’ makes it easier to paint larger areas when you want to control the wetness especially when I don’t have enough masking fluid and want a certain effect. And when you use watercolors, paper is so important that it’s the first thing that is taught. I was genuinely shock with what happened and then realized she must have done it on marker paper and the ink wasn’t water resistant. She was originally hoping to do it with copics instead of watercolor, so she didn’t have the right stuff. Calm down.

I wanted to try the dot painting too after I saw you do it! Have you tried "Yupo" paper? It is supposed to play really well with watercolor in this manner and I remember using it for alcohol ink. It can be a little expensive but if you do these little cards like this one sheet should do fine. :)

For anyone wanting to play around with a cricut you may want to look into a cricut joy first! It's smaller but cheaper (close to $150 usd instead of the nearly $300-500 usd the other machines cost) and it's size shouldn't stop you from making larger projects there are ways to get around that!

Hi Minori, there's like a mini cricut heat press. You can use it for small heat vinyl projects to shirts. You can also use heat press (big ones) for bigger projects and it's faster.
