Objectively, if you beat someone with only dittos, it shows off that you beat them with less hp than then. It shows that, with a diminuted and restricted version of his team, he utterly gobbersmacked you. It shows that the person is utter trash at strat.

When the other guy is using some obscure things either they are clueless or are a few dimension ahead of you
Anything goes team comps by fear level: Low: 6 Zacians (or 6 random legendaries, especially if there's duplicates). Medium: An Ubers team with a Zacian on it. High: less than 6 mons or mons that appear to have been selected randomly.
If your opponent has 6 legies, that's no cause for concern. If they have a not full team of seemingly troll picks, that's when you gotta get worried because you KNOW they're cooking
If you ever see a team like the orbeetle team on a player with a decent score, you should be terrified. Your opponent knows something you do not.

Okay it's official these legendary spammers on Showdown have never touched a Pokemon game in their lives.
People can play casually, you know. They go through a pokemon game with their starter + some random pokemon they caught and they win because their team is overleveled, that's it. The pokemon games and the competitive scene are wholly different things because the games are so easy to get through (for main story, some games have actually hard postgames i.e. battle frontier).
The trainers you come across have at most 2-4 pokemon, the AI isn't hard, and the "boss" trainers except your rival and maybe the champion (not sure about the champion, since I've only played about 4 gens of mainline games myself) have a type theme where if you have a pokemon that's strong against the type, you'll sweep through their team. And not to mention the levels you'd get if you fought a lot of trainers.
Abilities, competitive/thinky moves can be used in the games, but is it even worth learning all that stuff when you can just click the move that's super effective against the other dude and kill it in one hit? There's a reason these guys are legendary spammers, it's not that they don't understand anything about pokemon, it's that they play casually and don't understand the strategies in the competitive scene. After all, why would they bother to learn? You certainly don't need them to win the mainline games.
Sorry if i came across as rude in my comment, i just don't think it's nice to generalize and just apply labels according to a youtube video where a clearly better player is dunking on casuals. It's for entertainment, after all.

I've learned a lot from watching temp6t, like how to actually enjoy battling and looking at everything a Pokemon can learn and turning nearly anything into a competitor.

The first team is probably one of the most creative teams I’ve ever seen, I mean 5 ARCEUS and a MEWTWO? I am shaken by the insane amount of strategy that guy considered while making his team.

Honestly, in the first round Temp just got put against a bad player. None of the Arceus’ had E-Speed, and he kept trying to go for Toxic when he could’ve just ended Salamence with an attacking move.

Edit edit: There's some people like Lavos (yeah the guy who wrote a dissertation on getting stalled) who are not a loss to the community if stall and unknown strats make them want to quit the game. They should adapt, just like Temp does. He finds holes in the meta and rips them apart for our amusement (and education, somehow).

Legendary users, as seen in all of his videos, hate anything outside the 'norm' of play. The stigma was never on legionaries but on every other pokemon. Temp is just an equalizer.

Well I’m sure there’s plenty of games where they do, but those aren’t fun to watch nor good content. Also temp usually plays low ladder AG which has some absolutely awful players so I wouldn’t be surprised

1 Pokémon teams are mostly easy. They usually get killed upon the first few turns or are hit by a taunt or magic bounce when it involves sleep. The people who lost against these are the select few people among probably 50s that probably is on their first few days on showdown.
