Sure you can come up with the perfect strategy, create the best possible team, have the best match up against the meta and predict your opponent at every turn. All it takes is one unlucky thing to happen to change everything. Whether it’s a full paralysis, a flinch, a move missing or a bad damage roll. If the RNG gods are not on your side, you won’t be getting very far.” Luck may not be a thing that people think about but it’s a thing that needs to be kept in mind when you play.
Honestly, a healthy amount of Luck in games just makes good skill even better.
Cause now, if something bad happens, you have to think on the fly and adapt to that. So, I'd say I'd agree with that lesson.
