Its like the old TIHYDPs of him in dark souls just shooting 100 arrows cause he doesnt want to actually fight the boss.

his first playthrough was just him spamming jump R2 as well and he complained how other streamers playthroughs were using the same weapons
he clearly sees a telegraphed attack and he chooses to cast a spell instead of rolling away, truly a pro gamer.
Phil has no sense of timing. Plus rock sling isn't even all that impressive damage wise anyways, meteor sure if you get the timing right. But rock sling is just slow as hell and it's range sucks.

And he's just using it as an excuse to not do something he doesn't want to do. He's completely afraid of getting beat by actual ex pros so he ran from it for 10 years. Now he finally gives in to try to keep his stream alive and finds an excuse to not do it anyway and also declares himself correct for not wanting to play it for all that time when he didn't even know that was an issue.

I saw him use the sigils and then azur on top of it in prior streams, hes just ass. Hes always obsessed with stuns for easy damage lol
It's a meta build that someone else looked up and told him to copy. He has no understanding of how to use it because he doesn't play games like almost anyone else does. His twitch chat tells him what to do every step of the way, while he just scans the chat for incoming money.
I don't think he has everything to make the most out his build though. Cause azure got nerfed pretty hard and without that one spell to amplify it and tear in the physic, azure really doesn't do shit for damage and with his shit timing he can't make the most of comet.

Except he did. At least during his first run that is. Watch his Black Blade Kindred fight during his first run. Phil thinks his sword is 30 feet long and then blames the game for terrible hitboxes and input lag. It's genuinely comical how bad he is.

He used to spam Jump Heavy with the Golden Halberd. Now he just spams the same magic over and over. He has to know his gameplay is shit. Why would he expect to get rewarded?
his ability to not learn anything is incredible. He could play the game 1000 times and still doesnt know maliketh does a health debuff. crazy
You could say the same thing about every aspect of Phil's life. He can never admit to making a mistake. It's always something or somebody else that caused it. So he learns nothing from his experiences and the cycle continues.
i think he was overleveled when fighting the final bosses, and Maliketh really gets dumpstered when you have too much damage (on my first playthrough i was around level 130-something and he died really quickly, I then fought him at level 80 and he's a real challenge)

He never wanted to play fightcade to begin with, which means that he was looking for any excuse to not have to try. People have been telling him for years to use fightcade but he insisted on using ports on compilations out of spite towards the fgc and because he knew he'd have much easier time finding scrubs. He's only begun considering looking at it because he's getting desperate to avoid playing sf6 and tekken 8 because he's getting humiliated more than ever and wants his sf2 hugbox to cope in

Even his play style in E.R matches his personality. Incredibly slow, boring, repetitive and greedy. He cannot help but do "just one more" R2 spam or spell and he pays dearly every single time. Oh and years and years of experience and nearly no skill progress whatsoever. Has not learned anything. Its amazing

I once heard a bit of advice when it comes to Souls games, "Give respect to everything you fight and you will have a way easier time" Phil doesn't respect a single thing so he struggles.
I know most people know why he's getting hit even tho he's rolling; but for those who aren't aware, long story short there are two reasons:
1: Timing is off. He either rolls too late and gets hit before the roll starts, or he rolls too early, and by the time the i-frames of the roll finish, he gets hit. Roll catching is a thing, and enemies will follow your movement, so panic rolling might not save you.
2: He rolls in the same direction the enemy attack is going to: I noticed this far more during the fights against Placidusax. The lightning claw attacks, whenever they went from left to right of the screen, Phil more often than not rolled the same direction, meaning he was rolling into the hitbox of the attack rather than through/away from it, so by the time the i-frames of the roll finished, he was still inside the hitbox of the attack and took the damage.
Also, he REALLY should've moved away from the front of Placidusax when he was doing the double laser breath instead of standing there like a buffoon thinking it was free damage opportunities.

Pro tip: use incantations or items to do increase your lightning resistance. Because in second phase, the weather start rain and you'll receive double damage because your lightning resistance goes down drastically.
Every should start not capitalizing the p. Then DSp will have to ask himself why everyone is using a little p in his name. Spread the word.

dmgs against godfrey first phase is an absolute wipe if you have the right talismans (wich he doesnt but that's fine) he doesn't really exploit the godfrey ia enough in first phase (if you 2 hand the gs and fight at the right range, godfrey does this weird rush at you where he gets hit and you can dodge away, he gets staggered very easily too).
