As a guy, I am really proud of the 60/40 gender split. It is super uncommon for the large majority of online communities and I think the reason guys are leaving is because their mindsets are so distorted that they see safe spaces for women as unsafe spaces for men, they literally can’t imagine men and women coexisting in a non-sexual capacity as friends.
I think a lot of his previous (and male dominated) audience came from Ethan's "triggered" bashing / Filthy Frank style / idubbzzz n-word saying days, and over time ethan has proven himself to be more left aligned, being kind to things like women's rights and gay rights and trans rights scared a lot of those Conservative men away
I'd say I'm a relative recently fan, speaking as a 35yr Male. I started listening regularly roughly around the Will Smith Slap era after seeing a content court.
I was aware of H3 from Ethan&Hila guesting on different pods over the years but never actually saw the OG Vape Naysh or their content until recently. I really liked the vibe of the show and I've been able to go back through and see the different arcs, which has been fun.
It's refreshing to listen to a pod that has a decent mix of perspectives from different genders - often the ratio is skewed more to one audience.
If anything it's just nice not having the audience be 90%+ either gender. Nice to be nearly 50/50 and get a wider variety of opinions thanks to that
plus a lot of women probably came for frenemies and stayed for the goofs

I’m not sure if they ever say it bc I haven’t finished the ep yet but I work in a makeup and fragrance store and I will say…fresh is like a buzzword in fragrance. So I think teddy fresh in itself would be a great name for the fragrance and then if they wanted to make another one down the line they could change either the first bit or the second bit…when I think of teddy I think of teddy bears soft velvety and inviting. So there could be like a velvet fresh, there could be a boucle fresh, or they could change the second one and it could be warm and spicy and be called teddy vanilla or like warm and inviting by teddy inc idk just throwing stuff out there but I’d for sure buy some fragrance if y’all ever made it

There was Deffo a period of time in the podcast where ethan was just off. He kept being just nasty and pissy and complaining about everything and I found it hard to watch for a while, but you're right, these past couple of months it feels like he's really back in his stride and it's nice to see

I think you guys have the viewer gender ratio you do because the pod feels like a safe space. It got a little dicey for a minute with all the Tate coverage a while back (not because of the crew, just listening to what Tate was saying got real upsetting after a while), but I like knowing I'm not going to be tuning into one of the crew saying something extremely sexist one day. Y'all have such a respectful working environment and friendship, and adding Olivia, Sam, and Lena really balances out the discussions. Keep it up, love you guys 😭😭

I’ve been watching h3 since about 2015. As a longtime fan, it’s actually been really cool to grow up with h3. That’s how I look at it. I still don’t even agree with a lot of the things Ethan and crew say, but there’s a lot that I do agree with too, it’s always entertaining regardless, and at the end of all my bad days there’s always been an h3 pod waiting for me. I also grew up with Trish, was a big fan in my Shane Dawson days in the early 2010s, and when Frenemies ended I was fully team Ethan. With her there was a lack of growth, but with family there’s an expectation of loyalty and understanding amongst the fans and the crew and everything in between regardless of adversity… I’m a lil toasty and sentimental right now but I just wanted to reflect. I started watching when I was about 15 and I’m 22 now. None of my irl friends know or watch h3. I remember a time when I rarely saw other girls commenting or chatting here, and that was fine, most of y’all were cool, but it’s just cool to see the diversity and growth around here. I never really felt welcome anywhere irl, just kind of always floated, so this is a special place for me ✌️&❤️

I’m really looking forward to Ethan getting the at self pride addiction that comes with big weight loss. I started slow and lost about 120lbs but after the first 30lbs, when clothes started hanging off me and I could see a difference I got addicted to that feeling of pride and the drive gets stronger. Keep it up Ethan, proud of you.

as a semi heavily tattooed person who's a tattoo enthusiast in general, same 😂 I kinda get what they mean (I think?) in that the composition seems to lack imagination with the combination of already heavily referenced imagery in the pieces themselves. Not ink shaming! They're not bad tattoos, but the overall composition is very like someone who wants to have the look of being heavily tattooed as quickly as possible, or covering as much area as possible. Like the way actors get fake sleeves / chest pieces in movies but you can tell they're done by people who don't know much about tattoos, bc they never flow with the body or extend beyond cliché imagery.
