- This has been one my list from day 1. My favorite cover song of all time. Gun did a massive job with this song. It's awesome to play along with it. Crank it up!!

Thank you! Sorry for the massive delay in responding. My notifications are broken. I struggled with the Helix for a week or so, I just couldn't seem to get a decent tone from it. After spending time tinkering with it I can't say anything bad about it.
It does take some tinkering. Have you checked out the line 6 page on Facebook? It has nearly ten thousand members. Very friendly group of people with lots of knowledge. I have learned a lot from them. I also bought some presets called freeman 2.2. They are amazing. I play them through two JBL 8" studio monitors, a James Tyler 89f, and a 1989 "HM Strat" that I actually bought in 1989. Yeah I'm old. Lol..
looking forward to more videos. They always Put a big smile on my face😀 Love your sound, and enthusiasm.!
I look at the forums now and again, usually checking for updates. I did buy some Glenn Delaune patches and was really disappointed with the sound. However it did help me to understand and mess around with cutting out some of the high frequency fizz. And I'm old too! Thanks for the great comments, I'll keep them coming! \m/

I've been a fan of this version of the song since it first came out, way back in the day! I was just listening to the Cameo original here at work and thought, I wonder if there's any new rock versions up on CZcams ad found yours. I'm going to have to work through this over the weekend I think as there's enough clues in here to patch the bits I haven't got right :)

Thanks Bryan! I'm just plugged direct into a Line 6 Helix which connects direct to the PC via USB. It does all of the effects and amp modelling.

Great job David. I saw Gun many, many years ago (I think it was before they released Word up) at Southampton Uni and was really impressed. I could never understand why they weren't more successful. So good to someone else who loves their music too.
