I agree! How could you be sharp enough to build such an outfit and not see that the vacuum hose that is supposed from the carb base to the PCV valve on the right hand valve cover is missing??? That would effectively stop the vacuum leak. I would say too, that it is a really nice conversion and those pipes are great, maybe a little loud for an old guy with hearing loss, but I'd love to have it!!
Love the sound. But completely useless and the original engine gives the best mpg for any tractor. PTO is cheaper than diesel today. Nice build by the way.

I know that comment was 2 years ago, but the torque will be similar to the original engine. Well within the limits of the gears, they will be spinning at twice the RPM but that's fine. There is potential to slip and burn the clutch, but I'm assuming he did some sort of adapter to use the clutch from the gas motor

Yep that is for power brakes, heck of a vac leak.

Where is the PCV valve on top of the valve cover & the rubber hose to connect it to the base of the carburetor ? There's the vaccum leak !!

Gear box can, on things like this the clutch is the problem. Slightest touch and they want to climb over the back wheels.

Love the idea, but with the tow hitch so far above the rear axle its a death trap if you try to pull anything.

Original gear box ? Does it handle power ok very nice but with no suspension you can't go very fast as you take off if you hit a bump lol

ofcoarse its original, a gearbox is like 80% of a tractor weight/construction, everything else bolts onto it.

Take the original engine out make a mounting plate to fit the engine and the back end and then you t should bolt together

If you can fit it with a complete exhaust system instead of just two straight pipes, it'll have more power I'd say.
A muffler is made to decrease sound and to restrict airflow so it would only sound better and have less power
IF YOU PLUG THAT VACUUM LINE ON THE FRONT OF THE CARB IT COULD IDLE AND NOT RUN LIKE SHIT. DUH. JUST SAYIN.
