Cicely Parnas spent a lot of time with composer Jocelyn Hagen learning each specific idea the composer wanted to explore with every miniature in her set. "During the Pandemic she added three more, and this will be the first time that they're being heard by anyone. I think they're incredibly special, and add an extra element of intimacy to this set." 7/8!………I love odd meter! I even wrote a piece on the banjo in 7/8. To me, it seems to have a built in engine which propels it onward!
