TBH I was put off by this album at first but it's the logical conclusion of their style over the years. They've got a Daft Punk/Jefferson Starship thing going on and it's a breath of fresh air! I'll always dig their psychedelic black metal sound the most, but this still kicks some major ass!

Excellent. I've become a big fan over the past 3 years. A breath of fresh air in the current state of the music industry. It's like the doors/Duran Duran/electric wizard and every album is different enough to feel unique. I appreciate bands who aren't defined by a genre, like Viagra boys, although not even comparable if we were to judge by similar sounds. I hope black magick SS produces more music for many years to come.
