Celerity when upgraded is ngl like my number 1 priority skill on a mage, traversing the map can take such a long time, that after 50 hours of playthrough, and running through the same roads again and again having that speed boost feels almost necessary. I wish they gave us an option when riding an OX cart, to tell them where to stop on the road so we can hop off. Would definitely help a lot.
High Levin - best mage attack against bosses, keep tapping button for more damage High Frigor - best for small unit crowd control, knocks them up and does solid damage against small units High Palladium - nullifies 1 attack for team, good range of activation, even a big boss attack. Very useful to reduce damage to your team. Good duration until hit Agent Succor - when you are hit hard, use help! for mage pawn to heal you with this Halion - also ask mage pawn to Help! Command so they can Ice Affinity - use with archer's drenching shot and it freezes bosses in place, they cant move
Is a strange list imo. I get if your playing a mage but putting the dps spells so high you might as well switch to sorcerer. Also celerity is a clear number 1. Haste is op for both combat and exploring.
I agree. Sorcerer is the actual pick for best magic damage. Mage excels in its support abilities: argent succor, high palladium, ice affinity are must haves for my mage
I find it kinda weird to separate spells from the upgraded forms. No reason to not use the upgraded version. This is not like DD1 where you can actually cast these lower form spells by releasing the spell cast earlier. Upgrades are direct upgrades entirely.
I Love it... Combat and exploration is super addictive. Vocations each have their own identity, making it fun(and worth while) to give each a go. The absence of handholding is EXTREMELY refreshing. Its not perfect, the inconsistent performance, would be my biggest complaint. And the ingame currency, which the whole internet is throwing a tantrum about, is a non issue (at least from a playing and enjoying the game point of view) Are you playing Tia?
Oh yea was up 2 1/2 days no sleep. I play pnPS5 I have not really had many issues just the camera is wonky during battles. I get lost exploring! Guess I better start the main quest line today!@@Gaming_Analytic
Yeah no point having so many cool spells if you can equip 4. It just leaves me dissapointed. We need a way to bundle spells of the same element together under a skill slot. We could bundle fire boon, flagration and any other fire spell on lets say L1+□. Same for other spells. Shoot I'll like at least 16 skills that I could switch on the go
@@Gaming_Analytic I think it is a good thing. Makes choices matter also you can adjust at any camp fire. Sure you could build being a generalist or you can specialize to be good at a certain target that you want to take down or struggle with.
Yeah, there is. If you could use them all, no one would play any of the other classes, genius. You could just say you want to be OP instead of whining about the intended design philosophy.
@@Crimzon86gamingyou shouldn’t have to use a campsite or inn for skills equipment I understand, but stuff you learn no. In Skyrim you can switch all of your spells on the fly. No excuse for this game to have it.
Celerity also boosts attack speed pretty great ngl
I heard that a lot, but honestly didn't notice when playing as both warrior and fighter. Legit tried testing it but yeah didn't notice that at all.
@@KripsuPL How did you not notice on warrior??? Lmao
@@Crimzon86gaming I don't know, I'm trying out thief now, and yeah I can see the difference, but fighter or warrior I couldn't

You read my mind lolll that would be so convenient
Definitely more convenient than a random Monster attack..

Excellent advice! Thaks Mate!
Palladium gives me so much Balls as a Mage. 😆
The best Defensive Spell Hands Down !
Might I add: Palladium works well even against the Drake’s Levin and Maelstorm spells. If that isn’t Badass, I don’t know what is.

Nice thank you! Sorc next or? :)
Cheers Mr Grey, appreciate the love. Archer and Warrior next (voice and B-roll recorded, just needs editing), then Sorcerer, Mystic Spearhand etc.
Thank you. so how are you liking the game?

We knew it wasn't going to come with some Yank... :) Lol

Agreed... The tradeoffs for choosing one spell over another are fairly significant. Will have to turn to mods after giving each vocation a test drive.
