This is known as countersteering, a crucial technique in drifting where you steer the wheels opposite to the turn to maintain control while sliding. I get your struggle with the G29 for drifting. While the G29 is a solid wheel, direct drive wheels offer a superior experience for drifting due to their enhanced feedback and precision. They allow for finer control and a more immersive feel of the car's handling. Although I don't create tutorial videos, upgrading to a direct drive wheel could be a game-changer aspecialy for drifting.

@jarrod_hickman Absolutely, a quality handbrake can make a big difference! 😊 I've used the Fanatec handbrake and found it quite good, but I did encounter an issue with its potentiometer. That's why I switched to the Moza handbrake, which uses magnets for better durability. Performance-wise, they're quite similar, but for reliability, I lean towards Moza. Still, I'm a big fan of Fanatec's other gear (as you might've noticed in my videos 😝) and have no problem recommending it! It's just the handbrake where I'm hoping for an update soon 🙌

I feel as though the handbrake (granted I have not tested it personally) is sub-par relative to some of it’s competitors and being mindful of the quality of their other products. I have all fanatec products on my rig and am extremely pleased with everything I own from them, so I would like to pick up their handbrake as well to control all of my hardware using one program. Just had some curiosities how other handbrakes at a similar price range performed before pulling the trigger on one. I hope they update it soon to catch up to some of the competition, but time will tell I suppose.
