How to Make aloo Samosa Recipe! Perfect Crispy Potato Samosa.

  • ALOO SAMOSAY - THE FAMOUS FAST FOOD OF ASIA | ORIGINAL ORGANIC ALOO KA SAMOSAY
    Today is 2nd day of Ramadan and we have tried to create something organic and delicious for our Iftarii, We hope you like the video and the samosas too.
    *Ingredients:*
    For the dough:
    - 2 cups all-purpose flour
    - 1/4 cup vegetable oil or ghee
    - 1/2 teaspoon salt
    - 💧 Water, as needed
    For the filling:
    - 3-4 medium potatoes, boiled and mashed 🥔
    - 1/2 cup green peas
    - 1 medium onion, finely chopped 🧅
    - 2-3 green chilies, finely chopped 🌶️
    - 1 teaspoon grated ginger 🧄
    - 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
    - 1 teaspoon coriander powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
    - 1 tablespoon lemon juice 🍋
    - 🧂 Salt, to taste
    - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    For frying:
    - 🌻 Vegetable oil, for deep frying
    *Instructions:*
    1. *Prepare dough:* Mix flour, salt, and oil/ghee. Knead into a firm dough with water. Rest for 30 mins.
    2. *Prepare filling:* Sauté onions, green chilies, ginger, and cumin seeds. Add spices, potatoes, peas, lemon juice, salt. Cook, then cool.
    3. *Shape samosas:* Divide dough into balls. Roll each into a thin oval. Cut in half. Make a cone with each half. Fill with potato mixture. Seal edges.
    4. *Fry samosas:* Heat oil. Fry samosas until golden brown. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
    5. *Serve:* Enjoy hot with chutney or ketchup. 🍴
    Optional: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 mins for healthier version. 🥧
