Music doesn't have a high number of dimensions. That's why music theory exists at all. Music generating algorithms have existed for decades. The only difference to AI is that AI can incorporate any style, genre etc.

I dunno if anybody here's gonna get this reference, but this sounds just like Maynard Ferguson, a late jazz trumpeter, during his M.F. Horn era (yes, it's short for Maynard Ferguson Horn). He was perhaps most well-known for hitting inhumanly high notes on his trumpet, which is a talent unmatched until I heard Suno AI doing the same thing. Not only that, but Ferguson and the band he played with at the time did jazz covers of popular songs that you'd hear on the radio, and between verses, they'd just improvise, and the songs would go on for five to ten minutes at a time. Suno AI must have heard some M.F. Horn-era Maynard Ferguson at some point, because... Well, it nailed it. 🥹 Suno AI is a tremendous jazz composer, and it picked some of the best of the best when it came to inspiration. 🥲

To be fair I think this makes sense from a technology perspective, there's so many different kinds of art and photos that are good for many different reasons but with music it's all about patterns regardless of genre or type.

Love how the Super Mario 64 logo turns into the complete gibberish text that AI images generate.
I've wanted to try putting pre-existing music into Suno but it has so many copyright warnings I'm too afraid to do it
If you put old game music, it seems to work just fine. I tried to put more well known music, and it detects it right away...
@@AiStuff4Ever I mean I'm not worried about it detecting it - I've uploaded a few songs as a test to see if it flags them without fully finishing the process so they're not actually uploaded. I'm more worried about Suno somehow finding out afterwards and like doing something about it.

@@Imagemerald It's right above the text box where you describe your song. To extend it, find the song you uploaded in the list of generated music, and press the extend button.
