- Fly with me from Canada to Texas on my ferry flight for Premier Aircraft Sales in one of the ONLY DA40 TUNDRA's in the country!
Day 3 includes my very first IFR approach alone, munching on some "takeoff tacos" while flying the last leg of my trip, and how I dealt with convective activity around Fort Worth (KFTW) Texas.

I really enjoyed watching this whole flight from you Hayley. Your editing is great and I like your narration and the way you include extra details along the way.
You are always fun to watch. Thank you for taking us along!
Hello from BC Canada. A deftly excited flight, a pleasure to watch a pro, well done.
I know others have commented on the music, but I’ll say I like it, though I’d recommend lowering the volume a touch while you’re speaking. 😊
Good job and thank you for sharing!
Great videos! You made me smile when you said you were having fun. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Wonderful flight! Love that little plane!
Great flight Hayley.
Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. looking forward to the next.
I'm in love....great videos, thank you
Hayley I really enjoyed your video thank you so very much for sharing us and as always fly safe
I like your professionalism. Avid sim pilot haha. I fly talking to controllers via Vatsim and fly many IFR Approaches. Of course I don't die if I F up. Dad had almost 17000 hours real. Me almost 1500 sim hours. I learn so much from pilots like you. Thx😊
Thanks for the content. Great piloting and beautiful plane
Ex-rotary pilot here, in BC Canada....much fun. Been a while for me the tech is impressive! I'd fly with you...other pilots out there will get that that is a big compliment! :)
Another very good video, keep up the great work.
Thank you for your lovely videos please keep them coming thanks again William from Australia
another nice video, THANKS
Great video! Can't wait to finish up my instrument.
thanks for sharing and make in it very simple, nice airplane, beautiful Pilot
Hell yeah
Great video, good job!
Inc landing !❤
Good morning from Minnesota! Fun episode!
Great video! FYI, when they ask your type, all they want is the four-letter code (DA40 in this case) to type into their computer; they don’t need to know additional details like NG or Tundra. This is so they know roughly what speed to expect (piston vs turboprop vs jet) and what to to tell other planes to look for when calling out traffic.
Love you ❤️ 🛩️
That’s a cool little airport!
Well Done👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Bravo!! Olé!!!
KTKI is my home airport! I hope we treated you well.
Enjoyed this video. Thanks so much for the flight control and runway approach view! The weather looked interesting; good take on how you managed the reroute. Cool smile on the smell of your snack wafting in the cabin. haha. Anything you'd do differently if you had a do-over? The delivery looked pretty good.
Great video Hayley! Nice to see that approach and landing, well done. It really looks like you have such a light touch on the stick, is that right? I’ve seen other “stick” aircraft and it seems like those pilots are gripping it like a fighter jet. Thanks for letting me fly right seat 🤗 Oh, don’t know if I’ve mentioned this before, your radio calls are superb!
What more could one ask for? A beautiful plane and a beautiful skilled pilot 😊 hi from London UK
Beauty of pailot ❤
Nice job
😍 awesome work! But Everytime I watch one of your videos I get nervous af 😬😬😬😬🤣 maybe cause im scared to fly!
There are few events more satisfying than a successful approach in IMC. 😎
While to a non-pilot, reading off a checklist may be as exciting as watching paint dry, it is great entertainment to a pilot! BTW, what was the 'glow' you were monitoring? An aviation diesel engine?
Really enjoy your flights. I got tired of all the GoPro failures (overheat, lost audio, frozen video, etc.) so I switched to Insta360 Ace Pro to record all my flight videos...
That’s my girl!! ❤
♥️♥️
Hello from Lakewood New Jersey, N12 is home airport
Nice plane. It would be good here in Wyoming. I fly my Cessna 206G into backcountry airstrips and camp with my German shorthairs in Montana, Idaho and Utah.
That tundra looks really fun.
it is!! only two so far in the entire US
Making it look simple.
Haley, When is Diamond going to install Garmin G3x Displays in their DA 20's & 40's ?
Chalk one up for the 6 required over a 6 month period!
Hello from Hampton Roads Virginia (Chesapeake)
Hello from Hanover County
Your destination airport is going to become a major airport in the future. It’s positioned North of the Dallas area, away from the congestion of Love Field, Addison and other surrounding airports. I moved away from that area years ago and recall how small that airport was just a decade ago. Also part of the reason I left. Just too many people.
McKinney residents have now twice voted against a bond package that would fund a huge expansion of TKI that included a new passenger terminal, allowing for future commercial flights. It will happen some day, but the city may need to find another way.
❤️🔥
I really enjoy watching your channel. I see that you are a faring aircraft for premiere. I used to do work for them in Orlando. I have an aircraft detailing business. My name's Eric. Is it the same company that used to be in orlando
As usual a beautiful video a great looking airplane and pilot. Will we see Debbie?
Debi's first flight on CZcams will be soon! Completing some training and time in it first before I bring the cameras into it :)
@@FlywithHayley Take your time safety comes first. 🙏🙏
Nice presentation. The DA40 seems to want a lot of runway on departure, even as lightly loaded as you were. Is that typical? Thanks.
Great video! How do you get the awesome audio with absolutely no engine noise in the background?
There are audio adapters that plug into the intercom circuit, and the headset has a directional mic that doesn’t (or at least shouldn’t) pick up anything but the pilot’s voice.
@@k5sss Sweet! It works great!
I am new to the Channel. You mentioned work. What type of work do you do?
How did you remove the engine noise? very nice
Great videos! Why the music upon approach???
Was that a TBM on ur left at McKinney?
Does the owner of the plane know you are eating in his new plane??? He does now. 😀
👍
Would’ve liked to have seen the instrument panel during the flight.
seems like a very quiet cockpit
16:16 That's what she said.
How did you get a ferrying job? Maybe when I was time building I didn’t look hard enough but I would’ve loved to do ferry flying.
networking! I actually started as their media manager and moved into ferrying after a year or so with the company
What type of fuel does the DA40 Tundra use. I heard you mention glow plugs in your pre start checklist. Is this diesel?
it is! takes Jet-A
Is your ultimate goal getting on with an airline?
i wanna travel to moon tell me when you plan moon trip
good day beautiful lady:)
Glide path, not glide slope on an RNAV approach...
Nothing like loud music where there is no reason for music!
Damn what a good looking girl.
Repetitive music gets annoying after a while … other than that, very nice video !
will keep that in mind thanks!
As you may or may not know, CZcams is militant about music in a video so they have to all use this cheesy elevator music.
@@boogerwoodtotally!! copyright is huge on CZcams
Just marry me 🎉
That music @15:00 is really bad. I want to listen to YOU and to the tower at McKinney. Not some silly irritating "music". I register my consternation with a THUMB DOWN m'am. 🤧
Nice video...but P L E A S E...in any future videos...dont say you are going to Dallas when you are actually going into McKinney. It is irritating for those folks in McKinney and even more irritating going to Fort Worth.
It doesn’t bother me from DFW.
My filed was for KFTW- had to use McKinney as an alternate since a TS moved over Fort Worth! But being out of state, it does all look to be the same “Dallas” area. Will keep that in mind going forward
@@FlywithHayley Please do keep it in mind as Fort Worth is not in the Dallas area. Dallas is in Dallas County and Fort Worth is in Tarrant County...big difference. On another note...are you going to get your ATP and start working on some type ratings? I retired several years ago after 32 years in the Commercial field, but am still active. I have my own plane, C-337 but seriously thinking about selling it to one of my friends that have been after me for it for over a year. Then I might get myself a TBM or a Piper M600 or M700. Got a buddy that has a TBM-940 that I fly now and then and it is double sweet.
