Hayley, You have a really nice C33A, but you did something I consider verboten, while on landing roll out, never touch the flaps or cowl flaps. Too many Bonanza/Baron drivers (pre 1984), because of the gear/flap non standard placement have retracted the gear by mistake (I am sure you know this). I fly a V35B (not as nice as yours) and use my own checklist I created and part of it contains an after landing section when off the runway (I usually stop) and it reads 1. cowl flaps open 2. wing flaps up. 3. adjust mixture for taxi 4. adjust trim for takeoff. It allows you to concentrate and identify the tasks at hand. Also you door check needs a better push on the top. I have had more than one door pop open in over 30 years flying Beechcrafts. I have owned three. Checkmate/Quickmate cards and POH have too much extraneous material and can be distracting. I even created a check list for my 58TC.

Love the Tahoe area. I have done a lot of skiing, hiking, backpacking and camping in the area.

Your job reminds me of the US WASP program during WWII and the tremendous job some 1200 ladies did for our country moving aircraft from MFG's and various airports all around the US to free up more men for combat flights. They became capable of flying every type of aircraft the men flew during their short two year period of service. I believe about 34 young women lost their lives in the process.

That Race Track is called Keeneland and truly IS one of THEE most beautiful tracks in the world. I used to live about 5 miles west of it! The most famous and beautiful Thoroughbred Horse farms in the world are all around that area. I hope you enjoyed your time there!

That's a beautiful airplane, and I'm not even much of a plane guy. She's got a great mid-60's classic look to her, like a mid-60's Corvette or Ferrari. I love that she carries 4 people too. Classic planes are like classic sailboats..... Beautiful lines, real character. With old boats we say "she's got great bones" meaning she might be a little scruffy to look at but the guts of the boat are solid, and she's 100% worthy of a refit. Can't wait to see what you do with the panel.

DA62 vs DEBI.. What a difference. Great flight and no snacks.. (?) I guess lunch was the 'snacks'. What's the rule with the canopy? Are you're able to taxi to the pre-takeoff point without issues? Do you have to maintain any speed with the canopy open? That looked so cool. Love the DA62.. wow. Just wow!
