my favorite way to last out that final chase (and all chases) is just do that same highway loop that runs by the stadium and that ending spot. when you're finally done with them you can just turn into the stadium and wipe out one of the 2 entrances and demolish everything behind you. cooldown spots right there, too
@70707Sergio you got to change the rims size in most wanted From 17 inches to 20 inches The things they did't have was Autosculpt body kits, spoilers, etc. They did't let you choose what excaust you can have on your car. You can only put on 1 vinyls. But the gameplay in this game beats carbon by far.
i wish nfs most wanted included a mode where you can choose any car, set pursuit settings like condition level, difficulty and more, and any area you wanna start from and try to initiate a pursuit without having to do it in carrer mode, and you can toggle that option in any quick race mode, so its more like a free pursuit mode. that would be awesome, i cannot believe EA did not include that.
Hell yeah, the Hickley field is my favorite mousetrap. I always go 'round that highway loop until I get all milestones then I drive to Hickley field, stop or wait for patrol cars, I crash into the sign, destroy everybody and it's an instant cooldown mode. It takes a little more effort to evade the cops there when you're at heat level 4 but it's still good.
@xintegratedx Well, technically, since it is called Need for Speed: Carbon, it is not under the name Most Wanted 2. it is sorta like after GTA 3, we had Vice City and all of those other GTA games, and we JUST NOW got 4. We have all of these NFS games, but Most Wanted 2 will be coming soon, I can tell.
most wanted is easily the best need for speed in my opinion; brilliant story, great free roam gameplay with epic cop chases, good tuning, you can go ridiculously fast, large map...
yeah there is i watched an e3 video where the head of criteon or w/e said that we could change our tires for either better grip or for less traction for better drifting and to be able to change from a heavier chassis for strength or a lighter one for speed

Btw, wen u defeat Razor, the game is not completed as you need to increase your bounty more such that on the rap sheet you are ranked at number 1 in everything. only then will the game be 100% completed.
Pro street wasn't that bad. i'm just hoping that criterion stays true to most wanted - nice cars, awesome music, customization, free roam, great chases (with pursuit breakers) and everything else we loved about most wanted

Dat feel when being in a dark room w/ Headphones running some epic music that lets chills down your spine on its own & then you get on that part of the road you love the most, a straight line created to max out the cars speed, you Mash SHIFT with all your might leaving Engine sounds mix w/ Headphone music, leading you into a trance of epic

Nfs Most Wanted-A game which shows the maniac and crazy side of cop chases with cop ramming you head-on and the heli flying dangerously low.Nfs Hot pursuit-A game closer to reality with less cops and helicopters keeping a safe distance from the ground but still shows an even crazier side with the EMP's,jammers and over the top crashes.In short I think nfsmw and nfshp are close bros in the nfs cop chasing video game franchise :)

I have the old and the new! I recommend the 2005 version, its got more agressive cops and customisble cars. In the 2012 i dont really recommend it cuz u cant even customice ur own vechile only ur paint job but u wouldnt wanna mess with lthe highest police lvl u will be crushed :)

That would greatly enhance the fun factor instead of getting frustrated by crap u couldn't possibly have done any better in that exact situation. I also was very bothered by how the number of resets was thrown in ur face at every loading screen. Also the reset trigger, way to sensitive.
The second time I tried this last mission, I didn't remember how much I had to wait for the passage to open, and I didn't receive the messege. I was lucky I found a glitch, at the stadium very close to the passage. I just stood there, in the stadium, no cop appeared, but I also never evaded, the bar didn't past a certain part. I waited around 15 min. and then went to the passage.
nice driving dood. what was with that roadblock on one of the bends near the jail though, around 2:12? i keep getting caught around there. but for you, for some reason looks like someone chucked a bomb in there for you or something.....maybe somebody falcon punched the blockade....

need for speed most wanted and the BMW M3 GTR will always be legendary. no game will ever be like this one if EA continues to think with graphics rather that story line and excitement.
This game can not be placed in any existing video game category. It's not racing game, it's not street racing game, it is category of it's own. Simply "avoid cars from opposite direction" game! That's the whole point of this most annoying thing I ever played. And not just cars... Countless traffic signs, lamp posts, construction sites, trash cans, walls in the middle of highway, trees, bus stations carefully placed on your way to suck dry every bit of fun you may have.
You should hit speedbreker when knocking down pursuit breakers and road blocks as the cut scenes that come up can sometimes cause you to drive into spikes without giving you time to move ;) I have 145,000,000 Bounty haha

most wanted was good because of cops but it lacked the customization that underground had and most of it was returned in carbon with the sweet new autosclupt function but pursuits are still the best in most wanted

I knew you will say that I suck, but crashing every 100 meters is the problem in game, not in me. Handling is slow, it takes 2 seconds to turn a little

I had a blast playing this when it came out, and i re-visited in early 2009. Now i wanna fucking play Most Wanted again. I just bought the new one-Hot Pursuit. If you guys like Most Wanted like I do- you will not be happy with it. The only thing I can say about it is: it's pretty. The graphics and frame rate is outstanding. That's about it. It is NOTHING like Most Wanted or Carbon. There is NO STORY-I literally mean NONE! Not even an introduction like "your mission is to win street races:-NOTHING! And there is no open world to explore or loose the cop infractions. It's just not the same game-don't buy it!
@RazorsBM fairly older than that if you get thre xbox or ps2 version it is more like 5 years old since it was released in 2005 the xbox360 version came out in 2006 though
my game had a bug which meant it kept freezing after all of razor's races, but before the last cutscene, so i couldn't finish the game. But eventually after alot of the whole "turn it off, then on again" technique, it FINALLY worked :D! Most Wanted was so good that i actually got a second copy (this one was the black edition though) and i've ordered a THIRD copy over amazon for my xbox 360! (cos i don't use either of my PS2s any more.) BEST. NEED FOR SPEED. GAME. EVER!!!!!!!!!! :D
Whenever I do this chase now, I try and last 30 minutes. BEST. IDEA. EVER. What I do is spend the first 5 minutes going round Camden Beach knocking over Pursuit Breakers, then spend 5 minutes going around the Rockport City area. Then I spend the next 10 minutes circling the Rockport highway till I whittle them down to a few left, go through the city center until back up arrives. Then I'm back to the highway. After 10 mins of that, I do the same thing, but in the Rosewood area. Then I GTFO.
It's unfortunate to see this channel not active .. I again watched this video 13 years later. I really enjoyed this video

I did the final pursuit in a different way that walkthrougs suggest. I turned around, wend to the highway, and just circled until Mia called.
I admit that chase was really epic, and you're able to enter tight corners and dodge obstacles without using the speedbreaker.
Thank godness for this clip. I was able to get there in 3 minutes and then just hang around till Mia opens the passage. Best NFS game ever.

i got left off when i had to beat razor during those 5 rival races and my game always freezes when i beat him so i never go to see the video

I lost the police in the football field near end and it never opened. I think you have to go a certain time and distance.

The last race with the cops is the greatest pursuit and I finally beat this game!
