Hi
@@Rosin2 Hello
Can you guys put time Stamps in your videos, it will elevate your videos 😊
Those are some useful shots. How about the turbo/pizza? The over the bush saver?
audio sounded fine to me
I started my disc golf journey this week. Because of these videos, I ordered a Latitude64 bag and a Fuse.
Wow thats awesome! Welcome here and to the sport =) /Jonathan
The naive questions from Jonathan are really usefull, cause for a pro it's easy to know why to throw this way or an other, but for a beginner like me it helps to have full explanations !
Please never stop making videos. I look forward to every one. Lat 64 100% gets the importance of these and it makes me happy.
Super helpful to have so many different shots in one video! Next time I'm in the bushes I can just open the video an choose the best shot ☺️
Thanks for the tips!
That tearing noise during the Patent Pendings was hilarious!
Fridays are always better with a Lat 64 video.
Not only was it funny, but it was very instructional, thank you!
I love the swedish interjections. I don't even speak it but it just seems perfect for the situations they're in.
it is xD
Would love to see the Turbo Putt and the Scoober as well!
Thank you for including the mess ups as well! Not only are the entertaining but they provide beginners some hope that not everyone will make these shots first try!
"Du simmar ur bild Kaj" 🤣
[Insert roasted kid meme here]
If someone is wondering it's from a classic swedish clip from the 1980's and it means "Kaj, you are swimming out of frame!". A man had his wife (i think) film when he was swimming to test his new camera but she didn't know she could turn the camera.
Practicing putting/tossing to the left and right of a big tree, even for just a few minutes, is so helpful before a tournament round. Just getting the feel for creative shots when obstructed helps a ton!
Rollers are the black magic of disc golf. That's the best explanation ever! Ty
Love that outtakes aren't actually taken out
Skip shots are criminally underused
I agree for me this was like… ohh that’s why I should bag a driver on a wooded course…
Lat 64 has the best videos in the sport. Thank you Jonathan!
Grenades have a reputaion for hurting the thumb so people often use a grip with the disc between the pointer and middle finger and the thumb pressing on the pointer.
I only use the grenade to get over things so thanks for the tip about using it to get through things, I usually would have tomahawked it so I'll try the grenade (in the unlikely event that I'll ever find myself stuck behind a wall of branches of course)
Played my first round of the year today and it was glorious...... and the Pure is my new favorite disc!!
Never done the skip shot before. Brought a driver to my wooded course. Threw it instead of an Envy on a short uphill dogleg left…parked it!! Nice to not worry about the ceiling!!! Thanks a lot!
Weird? This is all my shots!
Honestly everyone should go out on a training field and tomahawk throw their every driver once. The one that flips 360 degrees once and drops out of the sky on a comfortable line is the one you need to use. Now you have a way to go over obstacles. This saves a ton of strokes with minimal amount of practice.
BÄST! Tack för värdefulla tips!
River is also an excellent short range skip disc
Thanks! I NEED these shots, because I'm always in trouble... haha. Great to see more content from you two, you're my favorite disc golf content creators.!
Another great video! Informative (especially scuba roller, never done that!) and entertaining at the same time. Excellent use of music too! Watching some of the less than perfect shots was awesome.
Scuba is now in my wheelhouse! Thanks !
"we are in deep shit now" hahaha älskar era videor :)
😂🤘
Always good with a refresh of an older video ;)
I call this video "The man who cames from the jungle" because of the Thumbnail. Well done guys! Greetz from Germany! ✌
When are you coming to Finland? And my home course it is very good the Herusten disc golf. Let me know if you are coming.😊
Hopefully in a not so distance future. Really likes being in Finland and playing some disc golf =)
Maybe a walkthrough of turboputt/approach and scubathrowing. Shots you need when you cant have your arms low because you're in a bush or something.
Bra tips, Johannenes! Också, bra kastat Jonathan!
Good day Jonathan and Johanennenennees. Hope you having a wonderfull spring time!
Right back at ya =)
My favourite days are Latitude 64 days!
Great stuff, important shots to know!
I absolutely fell in love with your videos! Thank you!
Glad you like them =)
Love your guys’s videos. 😂😊
@latitude64
How do you throw a forehand skipshot? (or make the skip going right instead of left)
Lot of anny and keeping it overstable?
I love the video but I have a question that's unrelated.
Would you guys be open to having a contest where the prize would be to play a round of disc golf with you two??🙂
oh my gawd the stretching sounds lol!
Thanks for the video. Im curious about the benefit of the scuba roller as opposed to a forehand roller with a grenade grip.
Both ways does the trick! It wouldn't say that any of them are better than the other, it all comes down to personal preference. I guess you are referring to what I would call a "thumber roller". That grip and motion makes it easier to reach back further and get more power, compared to a scuba roller. For me personally though, I feel I get more control to hit the right angle with a scuba roller. But as always, do what works and feels good for you! / Johannes
Is the Saint Pro Moonshine plastic coming back? I miss having new ones of them
like the grenade shot you can also do the tomahawk throw over your head
Awesome great job from team JJ
i wish ya'll would do some more course exploration like with the järva video 👍
Very useful! Thanks!
@7:30 just opened up so much fanfic opportunity.
ok, here is my question, why did you plant all those bushes there by the basket? Would it not be easier to move the basket into the open and then putt?
Great video! Make ma laugh a lot 😂❤
Thank you =)
You guys are a blast!
Thanks for a great video with tips!
7:30 had me lol'ing
The sound of Johanananes stretching made me giggle. Our dude needs to do some yoga.
Don’t forget about the inverted slide shot. You throw almost a tomahawk but the dice lands on the plate and slides. Better than a standard slide shot because it is less likely to pop up and roll away.
Disc, not dice.
I mean this in the most sincere way because I respect her greatly. Teach Kristin how to throw a backhand patent pending , I’m convinced she’s lost tournaments because she never throws them.
Y'all need to make a glimmer x Pioneer for those skip shots.
Moonshine isn't overstable enough?
And have a good day too

❤
As somebody who plays a technical, wooded course all the time, these almost all get used every round. One hole is actually a skip shot ace run! 😅
What bags are you guys using, please?
I´m using the Core pro bag =) /Jonathan
Me too / Johannes
First time I ever played, I did a version of the first one and ripped my jeans xD
Scuba? I've always heard that one called a scoobie or scoober.
Forehand patent pending lol, it was just a regular step out forehand
I sound just like that when i stretch!
Missed opportunity at the end of the video to say, "bye... Fuse". 😅
What about the tomahawk and thumber?
We have those in this video: czcams.com/video/9POE6Yz8pnQ/video.html
Johanananannanananananannas is a very good coach
He really is =)
In the patent pending, the line is actually drawn from your foot that is behind the marker, not from the marker itself. Unless they've changed the rules the last couple of years.
No, it's always been from the marker, not the foot. You have to have a supporting point within the paper sized area behind the marker disc, and no supporting point can be closer to the basket than the front of your lie. Since the supporting point behind the marker disc can never be farther than foot away anyway, your other foot couldn't be more than a couple inches in front of your marker foot without being a foot fault, as long as it's behind your lie then you're good.
The line starts from the back of your marker (or if you leave the discs). That's how it always has been. / Johannes
@@Latitude64 For real? Gotta look this up, thanks for answering.
Edit: Looked it up, you are right, sorry!
I would argue FF at the first tip since he playing on his toes and seem outside the “box”
Always avoid these shots 😂
mijas discgolf park?
Scott Stokely explains the scoober roller in more detail: czcams.com/video/aP4ilSSApkk/video.htmlsi=dO1jm76XiEqf2HSX
Scoober believers or nah?
"I'm free now..
