Looks like a nice unit Randy. I have the Evolution metal cutting skill type saw and it is great. The quality seems very good. I've mostly used it for mild steel plate and have had no issues so I'm thinking that Evolution is putting out tools of a reasonable quality for a price that allows even a hobby level guy like me to get a tool that will do the job if I need one. They are not giving them away, well Randy got one, but the top of the line stuff is so expensive that I can't even think about buying something of that caliber.

@@RRINTHESHOP Waiting for the owner to give me a price. He is going to let it go for exactly what he has into it... He's done all the chrome, a bunch of cad plating and he bought all the sheet metal for it. If it's reasonable, I'm going to get it. I'm hoping to hear from him in the next couple weeks. It's in KC, so I need to come up with a plan to drag it back to Colorado.

There is nothing like having a tool when you need it. I have an evolution chop saw and it is a good quality tool. Thanks for the video keep on keeping on.

Happy 4th July Randy. Busy up here. I just sat down, first time and its 10:30 pm. That is a nice tool and the anular cutters to boot. You are a lucky man. Probably most shops struggle to bore large holes in heavy plate. With this kit you are way out in front. Enjoy summer and take care.🇺🇸🇺🇸🇨🇦🇺🇸🇺🇸

You can do peck drilling with this gizmo to keep the chips smaller. I have one and that's what I do. For drilling big holes in steel, these mag drills with annular cutters are the bomb. The fact that they are portable and can be used on construction steel (in place) is also a plus.
Oh yes you can. But Annular cutters prefer to stay in the cut, pecking is a pit hard on them and you can break teeth..Thank you for the great comment.
