Lovely to see a video in Switzerland, my former home. This video presented quite a workout, loved it. I understood almost everything the first time around and I will enjoy a second listen after a 15 minute break. Dasha's friend is a very innocent person with loads to learn about geopolitics and life in general. It was "cute" listening to the rubbish Lena uttered about an ideal partner and it was enlightening to learn what a layman knows about geopolitics, in other words "rubbish" or one of my favourite Russian words: Ерунда. Thank you for the video, as always. Dasha, you're definitely my favourite Russian teacher on CZcams. Ich halte Dir die Daumen!
She has the typical views of a young, university-educated woman. She has every fashionable opinion a young woman must have in order to accrue social approval from her peers.
For example, a woman who has attended university is not something I desire, because they all have the same cookie-cutter liberal BS views

Hi Dasha. I had to stop 1/3 of the way in because of time constraints but I had this to say about some things. First, I enjoy freedoms here in America but they are being slowly eroded. Second, much of where I live is much like the "European" part of Russia as to climate. Third, my daughter is an actuary. That requires much study in Mathematics and Probability. Elana may know something of this. Fourth, we have had many changes in America in the last couple years that have infuriated half of the population. II am happy that you have visited America and I hope you can again. Avoid some areas of large cities. Crime is rampant.

What a wonderful channel! Little by little I start to pick up certain words and can guess the meaning of phrases. I also like the content very much, contemplating things all from everyday issues to greater questions on life as seen here. Also once again a good reminder not to succumb to primitive thinking that Russians are all Z.

Я нашла такую статистику: 78,000 women die each year from unsafe abortions worldwide. It is estimated that there are 20 million unsafe abortions per year on a global basis. О каком спасении жизни мы говорим? Может быть, стоит дать женщинам выбор и право самим решать?
