Lakers couldn't pay Klay Thompson 20 million per year unless they traded Rui Hachimura and D'Angelo Russell to the Warriors. They should've traded D'Angelo Russell and Gabe Vincent for Dejounte Murray. Then trade Prince & Austin Reeves for DeMar DeRozan and a 2nd round pick.

The Warriors have been dysfunctional ever since Draymond Green decided to tear down the franchise with his unstable behavior. Unfortunately, injuries have taken its toll on Klay's game but it would make no sense for Klay to want to go to a team that's more dysfunctional than the Warriors. The Lakers have turned into a circus act as they continue to make one incompetent decision after another. They're a franchise more interested in storylines than actual basketball! I hope Klay can gain some of his competitive edge and confidence back on a new team and in a new environment.
