That equals 5 good games the entire season. In six of the most important playoff games of his career against Dallas he scored a total of 35 points and was a minus 16. He had the ball in his hands and they would leave him wide open and attack him on defense. They would clog the lane up so no one else could score. So he was about to be a 6th so you know more than sam presti? After that series nobody really wanted him because they saw his limitations in a playoff setting not regular season setting.

This trade will go down as Presti's 2nd worst blunder next to trading Harden. Giddey is a tremendously talented 21 year old who is rapidly improving and Caruso is 30 and averages less than 7 points. This was a horrific trade for OKC and makes them significantly worse.
Good trade for both sides. OKC is getting solid bench player. CHI is getting young prospect for starting lineup, PG with nice shooting and passing skills, injury-free and with many years in front of him. Alex will not develop more, he's reached his peak, instead of JG, who is just starting.
Caruso is the perfect SG for OKC. He can catch and shoot 3s, and he can play solid perimeter defense. That’s literally all they need him to do. Now they should try to get Andre Drummond, or another center that can rebound, because Chet Holmgren needs to be moved to PF.
Josh Giddey is an elite talent. Chicago is a better fit. Caruso is 9 years older, 4” shorter and only improved his shooting numbers ahead of Giddey, these past two seasons. May work out for both teams but if SGA goes down, Caruso can’t carry the load.

Not really a robbery OKC can score but they were missing that hustle guy who will strap up defensively. He is not afraid to get bucket when he has to in addition to not being in his feelings about running with the second unit. It’s a win for both sides.

As a bulls fan, we we’re definitely not robbed. I loved Caruso but I genuinely think that Giddey is already a better player than Caruso, Giddey is also younger and has much more potential than Caruso. Bulls fans got exactly what they wanted, it was a good trade.

This trade will go down as Presti's 2nd worst blunder next to trading Harden. Giddey is a tremendously talented 21 year old who is rapidly improving and Caruso is 30 and averages less than 7 points. This was a horrific trade for OKC and makes them significantly worse.
Going by their track record, I trust OKCs talent assessment.
Good trade for both sides. OKC is getting solid bench player. CHI is getting young prospect for starting lineup, PG with nice shooting and passing skills, injury-free and with many years in front of him. Alex will not develop more, he's reached his peak, instead of JG, who is just starting.

Caruso is the perfect SG for OKC. He can catch and shoot 3s, and he can play solid perimeter defense. That’s literally all they need him to do. Now they should try to get Andre Drummond, or another center that can rebound, because Chet Holmgren needs to be moved to PF.
This might be one of those trades where the winner changes in like 4-5 seasons

Josh Giddey is an elite talent. Chicago is a better fit. Caruso is 9 years older, 4” shorter and only improved his shooting numbers ahead of Giddey, these past two seasons. May work out for both teams but if SGA goes down, Caruso can’t carry the load.

Not really a robbery OKC can score but they were missing that hustle guy who will strap up defensively. He is not afraid to get bucket when he has to in addition to not being in his feelings about running with the second unit. It’s a win for both sides.

Caruso is like a Jrue Holiday type player, can play in any system. His only problem is staying healthy. Thunder definitely won this trade unless Giddey all of sudden becomes an elite player out of nowhere.

Neither lost the trade, the bulls saw that playmaking ability in Josh giddy going to waste and they could really use it and it allows him to slowly build into a great PG like Luka saw this was a great trade for both sides.
