I've watched this three times, but I still can't figure out how to summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon. What am I doing wrong?
Maybe your not using it properly. Have you tried summoning the Blue Eyes Toon Dragon, then placing the Blue Eyes on top of the card?

they still summon Blue-Eyes White Dragon because it is from the best charecters in the game.

My friends didn't know how to play Pokemon when I was in elementary school so we just smack the cards together and make cool noises

I learned two weeks ago, and I used to play MTG since 4th edition years and years ago ... is never too late. Also I like how they are keeping online and physical together.
I spent my childhood collecting these cards, but I had nobody to play with (I was an only child at the time), so I never really bothered to learn how to play… feels good to finally know how to play the game now, and I have a younger brother to play with now!

Just here for nostalgia. I remember my first ever pack, I got a Marowak Break. From the moment on I went on to play both the actual, real life game and the online version. I remember my brothers and I competing against one another for bragging right. Good times, good times
I used to just collect the cards and nothing else like a lot of other people, but now, I actually want to learn how to play the game.
Now if I only had a person to play with.
And some a bit more stuff since I don't know if I have any counters and I want some more modern cards (specifically EX and lengendary cards).

Thanks for the tutorial. Now I can finally play the game with my bootleg Pokémon cards that I bought from a local flea market. My opponents will cry in fear against my Rock Type Ice Pikachu.

+Micha Swen however, while you can use in game coins for packs, in order to make good decks, you still need a lot of money. you can make good decks without money, but it will take a long long time. luckily the VS Rewards you get for fighting human players are pretty good, and should help to build good decks.
right now there's a really easy to get Aromatesse card, which has a really good competitive value for fairy decks.
You can get it on IPad it amazing man like the best game I've ever played :D

i definitely could use this. I have never played the TCG, only VGC
the tcg is very fun and cards tend to rotate yearly so it's kept fresh (if you are playing legal format). the biggest drawback is the cost, a deck can cost twice as much as a game cart, that's the main reason i don't play anymore. its not as expensive as magic, so it's not bad. but you don't need to worry about breeding pokemon and move sets. playing tcgo might help.

I'm actually a Yu-Gi-Oh fan but because it's so hard to get a Yu-Gi-Oh deck in my country nowadays (forget the genuine ones, even fake ones are hard) AND Pokémon TCG seems to be more popular and much more readily available, I'm considering to learn the game. It looks unique and fun, and maybe if I learn and give the game a try, I'll be an ardent fan of it. One thing I gotta give it to Pokémon TCG; its card design is hella neat, much better than the standard Yu-Gi-Oh's hard-to-count levels and text-ridden box.
So I know this is old but hoping people still creeping on it! I used to play the Gameboy games back in the day and this Wednesday I'm trying to learn this with my new boss/friend! Hoping for the best. Any tips are appreciated

@beansoldier I made an entire custom yugioh format and had a 40 person+ server of creators and playtesters in there, but I learned you can't really fix a game that's fundamentally broken via its content. I've gone more into tabletop games in general and have been working on quite literally a revolutionary ttrpg for the past couple of years. I have made some card games along the way and while they were fun I've kinda fallen out of that type of game due to the limited narrative flexibility and the fact that I've been having a lot of fun with fighting games.
@@beansoldier Games are a weird thing. I find it crazy how little some mediums of game design have been explored, and ttrpgs just kinda came out as the thing I could make the most progress for the medium in. There's a lot of cool card games afterall.

I've been playing for a few months, but only today I learned you can win if your opponent has no cards to draw. I've never played a game that's gotten to that level, so I'm glad this video told me rather than finding out in the game.
When you use an attack do you put energy cards in the discard pile or do they remain attached even after an attack?

I've been playing magic for a few years but only ever collected Pokemon cards as a small child. Is a pokemon only really useful if you can get the whole evo line into the deck? And does my Scrafty have to be from the same set as my Scraggy?
Sometimes u need full evo depending which stage u want to use. They don’t have to be from same set

I've played Yugioh as a kid. It's a shame I missed out on this. It seems so much simpler and fun. And you don't have to read an entire essay just to keep the game going on properly

Iam confused can u keep drawing from your deck to keep your bench full? Or is the game lost after all benched pokaman is defeated? Can you attach energy's right away or to u have to draw them from your deck and does that take up your turn? Is there any attacks that miss? Or do they all connect?

Robin Sparkles the thing is u need to by the cards first then use the codes to get the cards online and there's thousands of cards but i ent got thousands of dollars for each of those cards.
rj20za you can play it for free too tbh, you can collect tokens and with those tokens you can buy booster packs and you can win booster packs with tournaments, battles, etc ;)
