Psygnosis made some awesome games for the Amiga and their intro cinematics were showcases on the graphical and sound capabilities of the Amiga. My favorite game was Killing Game Show.
Ah the Amiga. I am playing The Bard's Tale right now, the best version of this gem in my opinion. As I said before, you should do let's plays. I'd totally watch them. I love your style throwing in all the trivia and tidbits surrounding the games.
The Amiga is something I've wanted to get into for a while. It seemed to have a lot of the best ports of games from back then!
there are a lot of crappy games, too, devs were focusing more on graphics than game play.
Nice job! 👍
Brilliant machine the amiga, had the 500+ and the 1200. Thought Apidya was a mint game and pinball illusions. Oh and watching x copy checking boxes 😊 good times!
have to try this core on retroarch , i always used fsuae. How do the mouse emulation work with this core ?
Where i download this bios for amiga ? Thanks
Ok so this is not a question on the Amiga, but this is your latest video, but is there a way to set up parental controls from the free version of Launchbox? I'd like to give the whole pack to my son, but some games he isn't ready for yet.
There is unfortunately no type of security controls in the free version of LaunchBox. The safest thing to do is remove the games you don't want in that build of LaunchBox.
@@UnbrokenSoftwareLLC is that in the plans for future development? Or is that just another “reason” to buy the not stripped down version?
We've always added a parental control system on our community polls when we hold them, but it's never done well. Big Box does have a security system that will lock down parts of its interface, allowing you to hide games and then not allow people to unhide them. Just note that the more games you have in LaunchBox, the more overhead you have during the loading process of the app, therefore it's actually beneficial to lean out your library in any build you have.
it doesnt give me a option to choose the emulator after I select commodore amiga and when it imports the files it defaults to the 2048 core
is there a way to force the core I want
There's a few different ways. I would head to our community forums for more help with this matter: forums.launchbox-app.com/
I emulate Amiga with winuae, can i use this on retroarch?, mi roms are zip files
you can. if you use .uae files you can import those and tell launchbox to use winuae as the emulator. I personally use Amiga Forever and get launchbox to use that for .RP9 files.
@@kiasanth I also use AmigaForever, as RetroArch has graphic issues with some games which AmigaForever doesn't have. Unfortunately I didn´t figure out how to get the HDF roms to load automatically with AmigaForever. How are you running those?
