    I'm even thinking of financially supporting his organization because of his scholarly approach
    and efforts to bring Islam into the 21st. century.

      Hadis Mustafi brother listen knowledge has three parts,
      Knowing
      learning and
      realising.
      Perhaps what you are failing to realise is how easy islam is as a religion, its the most easiest easy religion of all religions.its also very simple and makes absolute perfect sense every time.
      And maybe you do not know that god Almighty Allah swt can absolutely forgive anybody and everybody if he wishes.even if it is the worst of sinner.....jajak Allah.
      Plus through your opinion it seems you either follow the classical islamic way,or believe in academical islamic knowledge which is shariya a little too much,
      Do you know there are other three sources of islamic knowledge?

      Arman brother i just gave you a nasiha thats all. it doesnt even matter wich madhhab i follow or you because its a clear rule that its up to Allah teala who deserves paradise. there are words and actions that can put you out of islam and thats a fact. if you wish that guy good than do it the islamic way and say "may Allah guide you"

    Islam warns against the formation of a clergy explicitly (and warns against all forms of monopoly generally), which leaves the religion to be interpreted by people. While people present their views on the correct interpretation it is typically people who have a knowledge base on the topic who end up gaining respect on discussing the issues. For example, political chat shows on tv will usually have a panel of experts who have knowledge on the field they are discussing/debating. In the same manner different interpretations from islamic scholars and philosophers have been debated throughout the centuries. Islamic scholars gravitate to other scholars who have stronger arguments etc thus forming schools of thought. All the different schools of thought are valid provided if they follow certain basic criteria. There were hundreds of schools of thought in history - but with debate they whittled down to those which were intellectually consistent with the holy texts.

    • @Kofi_Mensahs_BurnerAccount
      @Kofi_Mensahs_BurnerAccount Před 5 lety

      Ni zal it is essential that one consults a scholar to get a better understanding of the way of Deen and that's how the schools of thought came about. If you try to be like the Salafi people of today who say follow Quran and Sunnah strictly and when you ask them which books of Hadith, they only accept Sahih Al-Bukhari and some accept Sahih Al-Muslim. It's like the other books of Hadith don't exist to them or all contain 'da'eef' Hadith which is wrong. The schools of thought sifted through the Hadith to help people have a structure to their lives as they had the capability to decipher the Ahadith.
      The Google Translate Shuyookh of today go around denouncing Imam Abu Hanifah, Imam Malik et al. and call them deluded and say that what they did was bid'ah. Na uzubillah min zalik. Most of these guys don't even know the dua'a to enter the toilet or how to do tayamum in the case of lack of water or other circumstances.

    He didn't answer anything clearly. General people may follow a madhab due to insufficient knowledge or following a certain religious teacher who tells them how to do certain things. But, religious teachers should know that the contradictions of these four imams on certain issues are not good for the ummah, and all four imams can't be correct with their varied interpretations on the same issue. It's their duty to make a single interpretation on an issue based on the Quran and strong sahih hadiths, as collection of these hadiths are now easily available. The four imams didn't have those opportunities of knowing all these hadiths at the time as they were not collected and written down. There can't be four answers to a single issue. It's the duty of learned religious leaders to sort out, not to legitimise all four different interpretations. Thanks.

    Islam has been divided into 73 sects, the reason is that Imam Ali (as), the most knowledgeable person in Islam after the Prophet (PBUH), was not allowed to succeed as the successor of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH). So only those who follow Imam Ali (as) and the Prophet's (PBUH) progeny (Fatima (as), Hasan (as) and Hussain (as)) are following the right path. Imam Hasan (as) and Hussain (as) are the door keepers of heaven. The Hadith reported by At-Tirmithi and which was narrated by Usaamah Ibn Zayd who said: “I knocked on the door of the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) for a need and he said: “These (Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn) are my sons and my daughter's sons. O Allah, I love them, so love them, and love whoever loves them."

      The Guardian of Truth, the problem is that each sect looks down at other sects and think that they are following the right religion. The question is why several sects and who is responsible for it? All the sects can join togather as brothers and sisters and help each other (morally and financially) towards perfection in stead of hating and killing each other? It is the enemies of Islam who are trying to divide us. We should be united, visit each others centre, and learn. My personal experience is that we can also learn to some extent from non-Muslims and therefore we should not close the doors of salvation. United we stand and divided we fall.

      Who are these we, and for those who follow the people mentioned, they have been black spots for Islam (read history, they were idol worshippers and had limited knowledge about Islam). No one can take the place of Imam Ali (as) after the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and after him Imam Hasan (as) and Imam Hussain (as) and ending with Imam Al-Mahdi (as)
