GT45 Ebay turbo on Cummins!?!?

Yes I know... it’s been holding up and I’m not scared to spend 8-9k on a new engine if metal pieces go flying in the engine I have a s476 turbo in my room so we are gonna see what happens. It holds 60psi through all the gears with no issues and this turbo has been on many MANY vehicles and abused for almost 2+ years so enjoy 🙌🏽

On3 now offers a GT45 as secondary turbo on their compound kit.

I'd think one of these turbos would work well in a compound turbo setup with the stock turbo for a tow pig, if I ever get a Cummins it might be something id consider...

This thing will take 60 psi probably with bone stock studs if you tune it right. The stock tranny will be long gone before you have enough holding power to lift the head in my experience anyways. I have mine at 50 psi I was inspired after this and for 250 bucks for 50 psi why the hell not. Run it till failure and put a new one in. Boosted bois made 675 ona k series Honda with a eBay 100$ turbo then ran a 9 sec quarter mile. IV rebuilt a few China turbos and they are all quality especially if you port it and do the work they didn’t do then it’s a good turbo

Currently bumped it down to 40psi tune as I have a switch now I’m very impressed with how long it has lasted. Plus I’ve been definitely abusing it like no other without being scared that it’s going out 😅 don’t listen to others out there. I have one on stand by just in case it goes out. Beats having to spend 700 on a rebuilt one
