- Phil gets Miss Kay back at home a couple of days a week, and he didn’t realize how much he missed her until now! Jase is a temporary bachelor while Missy is traveling, but he’s able to see the silver lining. Al recounts some of the biggest jams Jase got himself into during preaching school, like offending his instructors from the pulpit and aggressively offering another student the “right hand of fellowship.” The guys discuss the relationship between God and science, including the way Paul used reason to grow the church, how modern people argue for or against science as evidence of God, and what exactly can or can’t be proven scientifically.

I was bedridden for 7 years (I'm 39 now), it took that long to treat lyme disease and my husband had to work full time (a contractor) and come home and take care of everything. God bless husbands (and spouses) who care for a sick spouse❤❤❤

Phil, you are so right when you say that our priority should always be the Triune God 1st and loving our neighbors. Everything else will be explained in the after life.
Prayers to Missy and Jase and especially their son Cole who almost died in a tornado in Tennessee!!! Their other home received a lot of damage please look it up it probably won’t be brought up on here for a bit

I was doing the same as I live in Spring Hill, TN, which is just 5 miles north of where the C-3 tornado came through and did so much damage. We had one loss of life and over a hundred residences destroyed or damaged. Cole was very blessed. Continued prayers ...

My prayer’s are w/Lisa Robertson for healing as my 42 yr old daughter is battling stage 4 breast cancer & is a beautiful (inside & outside), kind, strong in positivity, praying, loving, devoted, faithful Woman of God, Daughter (my only child), Mother of 3 (24 yr old daughter, 20 yr old son, & nearly 16 yr old daughter still at home), she’s a “Nana” to her 4 yr old granddaughter, a few day’s away from being a 1 yr old grandson from her eldest daughter, & soon to be a Nana to her son’s child on the way (God willing). She’s a loyal friend to many, faithful part of her church family, & a light that need’s to shine for many more yrs. I’m praying with faith for Jesus to heal her & take this “thorn in her side” away from her! I am praying that she (Laci) & Lisa will be healed by Jesus miraculously so that no Doctor or facility can take the “healing credit” from God! Our God is “Jehovah Rafa” (sp?🤷🏼♀️) God Our Healer! He is “The Great Healer”!! He’s not just a healer for “physical maladies” (as Jesus say’s to Jairus in The Chosen) but, also a healer of broken heart’s, hardened heart’s, & broken live’s through His saving grace! His gift of Eternal Life (life forever with Him in Paradise) is free by having faith & believing that Jesus is The Messiah, the only Son of God, God in human form, & the last blood 🩸 sacrifice for cleansing of our sin’s just by accepting Him to send us His Holy Spirit to live within us, confessing that we are nothing but “lost” without Him!! I’m so thankful for my family knowing Jesus & more importantly…Jesus knowing all of us! Her 4 yr old granddaughter (my great granddaughter) ask’s to go to church nearly every day bc she love’s it so much!! I’m praying for Miss Kay to regain her full health so she can go back home safely with her husband Phil asap as well. Please pray for my daughter’s (Laci) healing as well as well as Lisa’s from breast cancer. Chemo is really hard on her & she has a couple of tumor’s on her brain that cannot be treated with radiation safely any more than what she’s had. Jesus will heal Laci, Lisa, & Miss Kay as we pray for them w/faith that He is willing to heal them & strengthen their faith as well!! 💝💞☝🏼

Yes, continuing to pray for Ms. Kay. Phil’s love for his wife is phenomenal and hers in return. They are outstanding role models for our world. Praying for Jace, Missy and Cole. Their Tennessee homes were harmed during the storms. Praying for all these who help others know and love Jesus. I don’t have Mahaws in KY, but do have some crab apples which make an awesome jelly. Sounds wonderful. I feel a kindred spirit to Phil’s way of life. I am still trying to figure out the cat fish. We have a yellow catfish and blue channel cat, but I don’t know about an Appaloosa.
My wife is just like yours Jase. I am continually turning the thermostat down, closing curtains, and turning on the living room lights. And just like you I have determined that it is better to live with it rather than fuss with her about it. Thank you all for bringing God's word to us!

I love your Unashamed program. Thank you so much. My Mom has passed as well as one of my sons. My Dad lives with one of my brothers & sister-in-law as he had to sell his home, a few months ago. He's 87 on July 2nd this year. He has made amazing progress after many health issues & surgeries since our Mom died in 2020. So as we are all getting older, we continue to lean on one another, as your family do. Just want to add that you all are so inspiring to me and remind me to trust in Jesus with all my heart. I’m laughing and laughing at the first section my Grandpa would say every time my Grandma went to visit her brother or sister “well I’m Bachin’ it. Thank you for coming over and taking care of your ol’ Grandpa when your Grandma goes to see her people. I don’t travel to San Francisco never have never will. Well except for your surgeries baby. It’s strange for a man my age to be a bachelor” (I would go cook, clean, and do laundry) “I ain’t made a bed since I was a small boy” (laughing and slapping his knee)

Oh my gosh! I think y’all have another sibling. LOL! My husband is a Robertson , I don’t care if he was born in Minnesota. Y’all make me feel better about my husband. Although he’s been a Louisiana boy for most of his life. Can’t make him dress up. And the air conditioner is a constant contention. Thank God we both love Jesus.

Making sure Phil has food is waaaay more important than clothes. I'm sure he has plenty of clothes hanging up in a couple of closets. I've seen him wear some pretty neat clothing combinations here lately - ever since Miss Kay has been gone/hospitalized/recouping.

It’s an unpopular idea with a lot of church folks and lead pastors with big plans but the truth is many small to average size congregations would be able to do a lot more for one another and others like the poor if they sold the physical building they were struggling to pay the mortgage and utilities on and got a much smaller building or rented a spot from a bigger church or Christian supporting group for weekly worship services. And scaled back all the assumed necessities like lighting rigs, sound systems, fancy slides on big screens and etc.

The "Angel of the Lord" in the Old Testament is a direct reference to Jesus in the Old Testament. The early Church Fathers taught this from a very early time, only after the Churches became more centralized and controlled (back to that temple thpe mentality) did the specific teaching fade...many Eastern Orthodox churchrs have always maintained the teaching. All you have to do is read it, from the burning bush, to josua, to sampsons father, to agatha, to balaam's donkey, its clear that its the Lord and not a regular angelic being.

Paul may not have personally baptized people but they were baptized by his disciples there in the moment at there conversion. Please read more thoroughly and slowly. Maybe get a Greek to English dictionary as well, that helps a lot. Be blessed.

Sometimes I wonder if Jase just says stuff to pointlessly rile people up because he never reads the comments and responds. If he was going to stop at that church for their sign he better be prepared to stop at every building that has a sign with the word "church" in it....and explain to them that that building is not the church it's the people that are the church not building.
