Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

I have been binge watching all your videos. You two remind me so much of me and my husband (he works in program development)! You have made us want to cruise! I have never wanted to because of the Titanic (obviously) and because I am a huge germaphobe. I use the red Germstar hand sanitizer as well! Clorox hand sanitizer apparently kills norovirus as well! Thank you for bringing so much joy to my life! Between Kerry’s personality and Brian’s facts, I love it all!
I know VV isn't really your type of cruise, but I would love to see you guys review it. Would be interesting to see from your traditional cruiser kind of view.
That’s so nice they let you drop your bags even though the room wasn’t perfect yet!
I really wish Royal would implement the “perfection in progress” program so we can drop our bags in the room. I guess they would see a large decline in people purchasing The Key if that were the case.
We did the same itinerary in May and really enjoyed it! Was surprised how much we liked Reflection after doing a ton of Royal Caribbean sailings.

My favorite ship. Loved Tuscans, tried the fried cheese balls. Best spot is the sunset bar. Also the Mast grill has a great turkey burger.
Absolutely love S class ships. Hope that you enjoy. The tree in the atrium is real btw. Also on some of the ships the top deck and the basket ball court have been replaced by retreat deck space for suite guests. Hope you try the lawn club grille as i am certain that you will love the relaxed atmosphere and amazing steaks.
I've always wanted to go on a Celebrity Cruise because the "Magic Carpet" always looked interesting to me. Hope you both had great time! 10:19 It looks like a coconut that was opened up to get ready to eat etc.

I was also the one who interrupted you eating your hamburgers…sorry. It was lovely meeting you two though. You were very kind. Hope you keep up your great videos. Hope you had a great time on your cruise. It honestly wasn’t the typical Celebrity crowd. They were much younger and louder! Haha.

We booked our 1st Celebrity cruise on Beyond. I’m excited but the perks of being diamond or higher on Royal is so much better. I was offended by celebrity’s benefits 😂
Big fan here, first time commenting. Not sure when you actually went on this cruise with Celebrity but this video came out only a couple days prior to us boarding Reflection. As a matter of fact, we just got off the ship and am curious if you think Celebrity is better than Royal. We were on a weekend cruise (Fri-Mon) and we thought it was very similar to a weekend cruise on Royal. There were some things we liked about Celebrity but it didn’t blow us away like we thought it would.

The challenge on this ship is to take a photo of everything "Reflective"...we have 100 photos of different deco and art that feature mirrors or something reflective. When you start looking for them you are astounded how many you can find!
Dinnertime question: You've done suites with DCL and Royal Caribbean, any plans to do a Celebrity suite/Celebrity Retreat?
As someone who has come from a family where you get as much as you can when you’re on vacation and you eat as much as you can my only pet peeve about you too on your CZcams channel is you don’t eat a whole lot and you barely get anything from buffets other than that I love you guys you guys are amazing and it makes me laugh that it’s like they didn’t get enough food. They didn’t get food. ❤😂 which is the completely insignificant thing and shows how completely different people are.

Did you notice all the ducks in the tree? When we sailed on Reflection during Spring Break there were a bunch of bratty teenagers that threw them all in the tree. I can't believe they are still there!

I think the Royal One and the new names might be a them combining the Casino Programs between brands, this is just my opinion, Anchored, Aspire, and Boundless sound like replacements to Prime, Signature, and Masters to me

We love Odyssey of the Seas, so we’d probably recommend that one! Although a smaller ship might be able to go to cooler ports
No Carrie, it really is green intense green, if you ever catch one you'll see....there's no flash, just green right as it slips below the horizon...look it up, many from Hawaii! You hardly ever see one from a ship, because its' floating not stationary, too much movement....just a little Green Flash stats for you. We've seen it 2 times, both on beaches.
