Crusader III was the AWD version 1994. Crusader I was the first design, non AWD. Turner Drive systems is the cable system used. Front forks are spaced to accept a rear hub on the front wheel. The rear wheel hub is a flip flop huge with the non drive side using a fixie cog driving a chain to the non drive side cable. The front wheel uses a freehwheel hub.
I had the Harrington cranks, they were like 2x4's, they ran like shit, they had no bearings, the spindle ran on a greased graphite sleave, they only worked if they were loose. I put em on my hoffman flash. That bike was Frankensteins nightmare. I think 97-98 ish, the had the same little atom like logo engraved on em. Just giant rectangle aluminum blocks.
The 90's were, in my opinion, probably the most ridiculous experimental phase in BMX history, sooo many fails and flops, literal 35 to 40lb bikes, everything overbuilt, bikes uglier than Marjorie Taylor Greene, honestly, huge props to F-IT bike co and Robbo for realizing how ridiculous the bikes were and bringing things back down to size, the series one frame was a breath of fresh air in the time of 4" diameter down tubes and kmc 415 (basically motorcycle) chains... Did give us 90's kids big ass forearms though...

Didnt they have a woodgrain paint job version at an interbike?
Man!!! Just a few of them on 2WD were made, Chad Herrington's design!! 👏👏👏👏👏
Woah. 😮It's cool bc chad harrington ripped and always did his own thing. Thanks for the fart shoutout too, made me laugh.
I as well heard the fart, I can smell the del taco death here in sb.
I wonder why no one else made a 2 wheel drive?
OOOOH right because it's ridiculous and unnecessary!
