Hey thanks for your videos dude, We Live in Central Missouri and just bought our first Coleman inflatable spa thanks to Walmart having them on clearance on their website.
I have a Intex and I absolutely love it worth the money. Intex only heat if goes 1degree down it kicks in. I've had mine in 35 40 degree weather and only lost 4 degrees in 45 min. I do keep the cover 3/4 of the way on it when I'm in it. My set up time was 30 minutes. Mine has the bubble jets I was skeptical but man that thing runs like a real hot tub. I have server stenosis and it really really helps. My advice get one it's very worth the money.
good video. I think those are minor annoyances. I've had a saluspa for 3 years, and love it. but my biggest complaints are #1 - the filters/the E02 error code and #2 - the heater struggles when the outside temp is below freezing.
I have had mine 1 month and the thing i don't understand is that sometimes the filter shreads into small pieces and is floating all around the pool. other than that, its all good
Using the bubbles in cold weather cools the water since the air is not heated so you have cold air cooling your hot water- have had 2 $600 units and it seems they all will be great if you use the bubbles but not if the temps are below 60 degrees. I could sit in 104F in South Carolina in the FALL at 55F air temp and in less than 15 minutes either unit would DROP to 70 and keep dropping so these are all GREAT for Summer OR if you feel luck and keep it in a heated porch or somewhere inside so you have warm air being shot into your "HOT TUB". there is a reason you spend a few 1000s for a 220 or 110 plug-in regular Hot Tub. I miss my 220/6man unit,..., A LOT!
Mine is in a temperature regulated garage so some of those points don't even dawn on me.. but I'm glad you mentioned them because some friends, who are thinking about getting one (it will be outside), wondered about it and now I can tell them some of this points. We live in Illinois so the weather can be an issue. Thank you.
Yeah, in Illinois, I am sure it would work, but would just take longer to heat up, and have a harder time. But, I have had it pretty cold here and it still worked.
I no it can be a pain but it's all so worth it I haven't set mine up yet I have an intex inflatable hot tub pure spa plus its winter here in Ontario Canada and it's so cold so I will wait until spring it's hard but I have to do it thanks for sharing God bless you always have a beautiful day
I just bought an inflatable pump. Plug it into the air port, pump it for a minute and its done. Never have to unhook the pump. Have to do it once a month.
So my old one did this and my new one doesn't with the timer...so wierd..my lid is the only thing really...I don't have any of these probs..and rural king insured ot for 5 yrs for less then 400 bucks
We had the original soft tub 25 yrs ago and it was extremely powerful and better than the hard acrylic tubs. But like everything else the price for that brand is over 5 grand. So we've ordered the Coleman inflatable hot tub and are waiting for its arrival
Obviously yes...lmao. Imaging having your hot water tank on 8-20 hours a day in the winter outside. If you struggle to py your PUC now then don't buy a hot tub
Weird, I have a coleman saluspa and it never turns off like that. Had an intex prior and it also ran for a month without turning off. I only turned it off to do a water change. As for air leaking out I don't have that either except for the cover, for some reason that loses a bit of air but the main but I haven't had to air up for the entire season. What I hate the most about these tubs is you can't really but small parts to fix the heater/pump. Sure you can get the whole pump but little things like flow sensors are not made available. I wound up disabling a bunch of things which is NOT recommended or safe but it gave me another year of life out of my Intex tub. Shame because the but itself was in fine condition but the heaters/pump unit finally gave up the ghost after 4 years. I now look for end of the season sales, the last two I bought (I have one in the basement still in the box) were only $170 from Walmart.
@@Russellviews ahh, glad they improved it. My intex from 5 years ago didn't turn off either but I think this was an issue with the bestway ones. Thanks for shedding some light.
I have the square Coleman six man and my GOD it's awful!!! After my first drain and refill, the temp and filter keep shutting off. What is that? It won't go to full heat until four to five days 😑😑
I think the danger of the metal is more or so falling and creating a hole in the tub. Unless the metal has a current then yeah that can probably kill you.
Can you describe E02 error code? The instruction/setup "booklet" is lame and useless. This code refers to a water flow problem. When I turn the heat on, its shuts off with E02 code flashing. I have a new filter, the pipes aren't leaking. Help!
I just fixed mine today. it was the water flow sensor. I only found one video out of the many I watched that even mentioned it, but the flapper inside the sensor has a tendency to wear through its plastic axle and drop down making the sensor not get a reading, and also potentially blocking the flow. I fixed mine by making a new axle from a plastic lollipop stick, after taking the unit apart. It's pretty simple to get into and fix. Just make sure you unplug the unit before digging around in there!
#1 The newer ones don't turn off every 3 days. I had one that did and yes its annoying. #2 adding chemicals is just part of the game. #3 The air jets on inflatable hot tubs are useless EXCEPT to stir up the water after adding chemicals. I never run them while in the hottub as they cool it off FAST. Not worth it. #4 Since you are dealing with only 110 volts for heating your hot tub is only good for MAYBE 90 minutes of hot tub time if you start out at 104 degrees. 100 degrees is the lowest you will want to be in it. #5 As far as the latches on the lid they ARE hard to pinch. I have found that if you pull hard while pinching they come off easier.
Would you do a review of electric costs in general for it from what you've seen? It's low entry costs, but looking to see updates on that can change for upkeep. Great video
I’m struggling with the chemical maintenance. I watched your chemical video, but can you please do a step by step for dummy video on how, when and how much of what to use??
In a normal hot tub you put chemicals as well. And its not by magic, you actually need to put it by the filter, imagine same with yours, buy tablets, put it by the filter or in a floating and its desolves 😅
Gannon for president need a teal person to have a great country we live here we need one of us general people to run yall feel me , keep fishing catfish south style yup we in California but we catch whisker fish like yall in da south aye
You have to turn it on? you have to add chemicals? Heaven forbid you maintain something. If you were president would you do top 5 things you hate about that? Interviews? Solving problems in the world? lol
Ohhh Whine whahhhh Be Grateful you could afford to have one and maintain one.. Your a .... Grateful Person 🤔 Enjoy what you have and stop complaining bro.. Some people would die to have what you have..
Just because you can’t afford something doesn’t mean someone’s opinion is moot. If someone was making gripes about a Porsche, I wouldn’t think they were wining. So fucking entitled.
The snow!! ❄️ 😍 thank you for the informative video.
Thanks for taking the time to make and share this video.

Can we talk about how he’s sitting on the edge of an inflatable hot tub! That’s some support my G

Do you think any hottub would be better in the winter than others?
Can you use it at 104 degrees below freezing or? Does it lose tons of heat due to being inflatable?
Thank you very much for your video. Could you make a video explaining how to set up the temperature. I have the same hot tub. Thank you 😊
I feel the same way-not sure how to set up the temp thing. The bookl doesn't really help!
I have had mine 1 month and the thing i don't understand is that sometimes the filter shreads into small pieces and is floating all around the pool. other than that, its all good

How long has it lasted now? I hear the pump will freeze up. How do you keep it from doing that?
How do you like the Temp Control on your Traeger Pellet grill???

Thats great you have the garage. Especially in colder climates

Just like tires that lose pressure in colder air, I wonder if the hot tub is losing air pressure due to the colder temperatures?

What I like about this video is that I would never have any of these issues! Gannon for president!
Nice!
Iam looking for the cover of the tub any one have puchase one thanks in advance and give me the link
You leave your heater on all the time or do you set the timer daily?
The heater cycles. So, you set it to 102 degrees, it will run until it hits 104, then turns off until it hits 100 degrees.
How do you fill it with air. I’ve tried to just use the jets but I don’t see it inflating
Air does come out when you do it. You have to make sure it is in, and twisted, so it locks. I hope this helps.
Can I add more air into my cover after I have the tub completely set up?
Yes I bought a 9.99 inflator at rural king called the sindwinder and it works perfect to blow it up
I am curious when you have to keep this running, does it affect your electricity bill by a lot?
Obviously yes...lmao. Imaging having your hot water tank on 8-20 hours a day in the winter outside. If you struggle to py your PUC now then don't buy a hot tub
I bought a saluspa Hawaii hydrojet has hydro jets and air jets. Ordered it yesterday
I have that model for a few years but now the motor is leaking.

Oh that stinks.
i see there are metal items near your hot tub. my instructions say it has to be 5 feet away from metal. what are the chances of electrocution? thanks
I think the danger of the metal is more or so falling and creating a hole in the tub. Unless the metal has a current then yeah that can probably kill you.
I find out when the filters a just a little bit dirty, it won't hold the temp. But yes, 104, I wish I could get it at 102
I’m on year 4 of my intex hot tub
I'd vote for ya.
Thanks!
What a WHINEY BABY!!!
Exactly...lol

Mine looses air like every three to 4 days. Does this sound normal
Mine to in the freezing cold. Id say yes.
Air is already loose. That’s why it floats around. 🤷♂️
What is the Warranty??
1 year I think....if you use it properly.
Hello I am reporter from TW. Could you authorize your video to us for news editing thx?
#1 The newer ones don't turn off every 3 days. I had one that did and yes its annoying.
#2 adding chemicals is just part of the game.

Always thought there was a big difference in those 2 degrees
mhmm
What about the additional cost of electricity?
That is a good point, but I was mainly focusing on the specifics of the inflatable hot tub vs hot tubs in general.
It’s about a dollar a day in the summer.
If jets don’t do anything what is the point?
exactly! But it is used to inflate the hot tub.
HOW DO I GET HEAT ON???
Unlock it first?
Are you sitting on the walls of the hot tub?? That was my concern as to the strength of them.
Yup. You can sit on the wall of it when it is fully inflated. And I am about 250 lbs.
The walls are fairly sturdy. Not like our soft tub but it does the job. Worth the 400 bucks. 4 man.
You use this outside in the winter? How cold does it get where you are?
I have had it running when it is below 10 degrees F.
@@GannonForPresident Wow. Now I really want one, but I bet it uses a lot of electricity to keep warm in Temps like that.
Does yours stay pretty hot in that cold? Mine drops down to like 95 when it’s cold out
What does that t do to your electric bill in the winter… I live in Montana
In a normal hot tub you put chemicals as well. And its not by magic, you actually need to put it by the filter, imagine same with yours, buy tablets, put it by the filter or in a floating and its desolves 😅
Gannon for president need a teal person to have a great country we live here we need one of us general people to run yall feel me , keep fishing catfish south style yup we in California but we catch whisker fish like yall in da south aye
You’ll need chemicals for any HotTub, so that’s a universal burden
Are there seats? If not, are you sitting on the floor of the tub?
No seats-but I'm short and it was fine
The plus or minus temperature varients are as good as Old Fathfull 😂😂😂😂😂 just don't fall asleep with a cigarette in your hand.
I was under the impression that you couldn't have them outside?
Those latches are murder on nails too. Manicure shmanicure :( Id really like a better solution to the clips.
Sounds like you'll find any bad about anything. Welcome to life pal!!
Why don't you pronounce the end consonants in the word "button"?
Is your hot tub on wood
I found it very noisey when running
I snipped the safety clips off of mine
haha, nice
I was tempted to today when I wanted to get in there on our first day and couldn't get cover off!
You use this thing in winter?!?!
Yup! Best time to use it!
Don't light a cigar in there- you haven't made it if you need to be concerned about it getting a hole when it's the only ashtray you have.
Damn, lifes rough. LOL
Man these are some of the smallest annoyances ive ever heard. "Hate removing the top"??
Temperature within 4 degrees???
You have to turn it on? you have to add chemicals? Heaven forbid you maintain something.
If you were president would you do top 5 things you hate about that? Interviews? Solving problems in the world? lol
5 things and he has to read them off a list? That's all I needed to see...
Lol agree
Love the background music.
Idk about you but I WILL NOT be outside when it’s below zero LOL
Why don't you just move it inside
Because then he couldn't come on and complain. Imagine getting out of the tub in that weather ☠
This is well known as a “marica” that complains about everything, let the hot tub be
:)
Damn this guy has some high expectations and first world problems
Sounds like laziness
Ohhh Whine whahhhh
Be Grateful you could afford to have one and maintain one..

My god I love you ❤❤❤
Bro, you needed handwritten notes for this video?
Bro, you needed to comment on his notes ?
Bro, why ask a dumb qustion. You seeing him have the notes it’s all the answer you already needed. Are you thirsty?
It's just annoying listening to you complain about a 400 dollars inflatable hot tub
Sounds like Gannon complains alot. He wants all the benefits with none of the work. Must be running as a Democrat or a Rino.
