Watching the live stream was uncomfortable towards the end. When George said, "I love you, Dream" and his voice trembled a bit, just shows how upset he must've been. George handles situations well, and like Dream said, George can take anything given to him and he will try to learn from that. George handled the situation well and I'm I was so relived that it didn't mess up their friendship.

PurpleCutie .w. He was being forced. Dream was the one peer pressuring him into saying it and all it took was for him to show George his face. Like how hard is that. Instead he just victimises himself saying that George will just “scam him” when really, he’s the one scamming George. They’ve been online buddies for months, even called each Other best friends now. But how can you be best friends with someone you have never met. Aside from Minecraft, what do they have in common? George only knows those interests but has never gotten to met the real Dream, let alone his real face. All George wanted was to see what he looked like, and that’s not a bad thing because there are a lot of predators online. George is doing the right thing by assuring his safety. Anyways, the only reason George ended up saying I love you is because Dream made him feel like he was in the wrong. By asking for some simple clarification of what he looks like. And when Dream went off at him saying “I actually hate you, you’re an idiot” it may have been a joke but I think it was really affecting George. Not to mention, when he banned George from the team chat you could hear George’s hurt in his voice when asking why he did that. Dream even said that “why do you care about what I look like” and I think that made him feel so embarrassed. So he ended up just saying it so it could be over with

This whole situation is such an odd thing. These two are friends, close friends, who clearly love each other the way friends do: there's no denying that. You can tell from when George finally says it that he's not just saying the words hoping to get the picture at last, he actually wants to make sure Dream knows they're true because Dream left when things were going quite badly.
This whole withholding situation started off as a joke, but it's gotten so extreme. I hope they figured it out off camera - I know by now they've met in real life, but I mean, I hope they've figured everything out entirely, and communicated how each hurt the other. I'd hate to see this wonderful friendship die.

To me, it was almost physically painful to watch this stream because it was heart-shatteringly obvious that George wasn’t trying to trick Dream in any way. In return, Dream kept accusing him of lying and even tried to take advantage of what he saw as a loop hole in their agreement by concealing himself in complete darkness to obscure his features. I don’t know if it’s just my interpretation/imagination, but in my opinion, George seemed to be genuinely hurt by Dream’s actions and I can’t really blame him. If Dream doesn’t feel comfortable/doesn’t want to show his face to George, that’s completely okay, but he should at least tell him as much because right now he’s just being unfair to George. At first, it was kind of funny - like an inside joke - but now, I feel like it has gone a tad too far, like he’s just messing with George. George looks much more down now every time the subject is brought up and, to me, it’s clear that he feels left out and cheated.

It was really hard to watch the last bit of the stream because it became obvious pretty quick that they were no longer joking and they were actually upset with eachother. At one point you could even hear how hurt George was from his voice. But yet all the stans kept pushing it on and making things worse and it was just so fucking heartbreaking to watch. I really hope their friendship doesn't suffer over this.

I feel bad for both of them honestly, I know this is a while ago and they’re fine but.
I feel like Dream, especially after figuring our about his abusive girlfriend, was probably hurt by the fact George wouldn’t say he loved him, which may seem silly but I can understand. Feeling distant from people you care about is awful, and he did take it too far, though I’m sure he didn’t mean to genuinely hurt George.
The saying of, “hurt people hurt people”, or “pain makes you do things you never knew you could do” could fit.
For George, being friends with him for 4 years then getting baited, even if it was as a joke, definitely would hurt. Again, Dream probably had no ill intent, and was probably hurt himself, but it was a hurtful thing to do along with some of the things he’d said. I hope they managed to talk things over after the stream, I feel like both of them left pretty hurt about what happened, and I hope Dream gets the confidence to show his face to George eventually.

Yes, seriously, sapnap just sided with dream at everything and they were so mean to George, like seriously, I'm sure he was going to do it if Dream showed his face. George had reasonable arguments but got scammed and pressured by everyone. And he was so sad in the end too. I feel bad.

Dream slighted George so hard...It's clear he doesn't want to show George his face which is fine, but why keep leading him on? Dream kept doubting him, and making it seem like GEORGE was the scammer even though Dream literally used a loophole to not show his face. George seemed genuinely hurt when Dream kept evading and even banned him from the teamspeak too. George's "demands" were fair to begin. He only wanted 30 seconds of video, because a picture is hard to confirm if that's really Dream. That's reasonable to me...but Dream got salty; I don't understand. In the end, George had to succumb and say "I love you" even though being vulnerable is CLEARLY hard for him. I'm so sad, George deserves better :(
i have to agree, saying "ily" is really hard for me so it upset me that george had to be the bigger man and said it voluntarily, even tho dream is the one who scammed. i love them both but im siding with george on this one

Dream and George arent pushovers to fans. I think they were serious about wanting to see each other and be real with each other, and chat happened to be there when it escalated.
Tbh the whole thing was kinda sad. Dream was definitely upset because he felt unappreciated, and George was so interested in seeing him that he didn't noticed that the whole "demand" thing was really getting into Dream's nerves.
It broke my heart when I realized that they didn't really trust each other. I'm in Dreams side, even tho I love George too. It just seemed weird that George didn't end the stream when he noticed that Dream was getting mad fr. I hope that they're good now.
@@lucianacastrolopez3773 I think George didn't end it because a lot of people were waiting for something to happen. After all, everyone was there maybe for 2 hours waiting for their "deal" to conclude.
I also don't think George was pushing it on purpose. He was calm and tried to use reason. It just sucks that they both had different comfort zones and the situation placed so much pressure on both of them. From twitter interactions though they seem to be okay now, which is good.
I hope they're okay. George seemed visibly upset that Dream wouldn't trust him and since Dream doesn't have face cam, we can't really tell what he was feeling but this sounded like a legit argument. I mean, if I was friends with someone and didn't know what they looked like and kept asking and they kept scamming me then I would be upset too, but Dream also said him not showing his face isnt because of insecurity it's because he only wants a select few people to know what he looks like at this time. If this was a legit argument, I hope they talked it out and that they're better
