    I am trying to get my tool bar as it was originally across the top when if first opened HATCH. I can access the tools from a docker on the top of the screen but prefer to have them open on the tool bar and readily available.

    Hallo thank you for your answer but I was not thinking about the pattern fill. in Bernina under effects you have the option to choose star and wave effect.

      Hey Carina
      Yes those effects have different names in Hatch The Star effect in Bernina is the Radial Fill effect in Hatch The Wave effect in Bernina is the Florentine effect in Hatch To use these effects in Hatch, ensure your fill object is selected and the object properties docker is open Select the Effects tab and scroll down to the Radial/Curve fill section From here you can choose to apply a Radial fill and or the Florentine effect to your selected object

      In regards to the big cross we call that a crosshair cursor in Hatch. To change this,
      From the Software settings, select User Interface Settings
      Under 'Other' uncheck crosshair cursor and click OK for your cursor to change to an arrow

    How do you move the tool bar located in the export drop box to just under the main tool bar

    • @HatchEmbroidery
      @HatchEmbroidery  Před rokem

      Hey Joseph
      You can move any of the Toolbars at the top around but you cannot move an icon out of the toolbar to another toolbar. You can also access the export function in the Main Menu under File > Export design as well as in the Output Designs Toolbox. To move a toolbar, look for the vertical strip of dots. More your mouse over it and drag.
      Hope that answers your question

    I have an issue with resizing designs that I've created. Some of the elements of the designs disappear when I resize them. What am I doing wrong?

    Please show importing of .eps vector files. I tried it & can see the object shapes have loaded but they're not clickable to be digitized 😬

      Hey there!
      To import .eps vector files select the Insert Artwork icon. Locate your eps file and then ensure you uncheck bitmap before you select Open. Your artwork will then be imported as a vector file allowing you to select individual objects.

    How can I view sizes as inches rather than mm's in the Design Library preview? Is that possible?

    • @HatchEmbroidery
      @HatchEmbroidery  Před rokem

      Hey Neralle
      Yes it is possible. To do this follow the steps below:
      1. Go to Embroidery Mode (ie the design window where you modify embroidery designs)
      2. Ensure nothing is selected
      3. From the Context: no selection toolbar select U.S. from the measurement units dropdown
      4. This will change measurement units from mm's to inches

      @@HatchEmbroidery Thanks Bec but it did not change it in the Design Library only on the Embroidery mode. I would like to select my designs by size in inches from the Design Library. Is this possible to view?
