Yeah when minor chords were part of their magic. I mean you look at pop songs today and it is the same 3 chords throughout. This band, whilst very pop, always had multiple changes in chords for the verses, instrumental section, mid 8th and chorus. This why their stuff is not disposable nor forgettable. I believe Roxette and ABBA also shared this higher effort in crafting pop tracks

I was primarily a rock and metal fan when I was younger, but even then, I totally rocked the hell out of this song when I heard it on the radio XD
