Alex Bent and Mario Duplantier are my absolute favorite modern Metal drummers, completely next level stuff. Alex's cymbal work and fills are so impeccable
Gunshot to the head until the world goes cold down from the sky throes of perdition in waves strife silence in the snow blind leading the blind would love trash talkers to react to those trivium songs
This is a fantastic song. Written about the lead singer having to deal with putting his dog down that he was really close to. Listen to it again now that you know the meaning. Great reaction guys!
I have been waiting for you guys to do Trivium. Sin and the Sentence, In Waves, What Dead Men Say. Tbh Trivium is pretty damn good. I hope you guys do more vids on these dudes
Please, please, please do some All that Remains. Songs to check out "This Calling" , "Whispers (I Hear You)" and "What If I Was Nothing". Good place to start. 🤘❤
Gotta do Pull Harder On The Strings of Your Martyr some time. Regrettably I haven't kept up on their releases though I keep hearing good things about their new drummer Alex Bent. Kinda surprised neither of ya mentioned how much Matt Heafy sounded like Corey Taylor on this track
Definitely more Trivium!!! Try reacting to their song Strife. Alex Bent is one of the best drummers in metal right now. He is amazing. Check out one of his drum cam videos. Keep it up guys!!! My favorite channel!!!
these guys rock live! definitely a rabbit hole to be explored further. Keep on rockin in the free world guys! Devildriver - The Mountain - Nothing's Wrong
I believe this song is about how dogs are pure and the owner(Matt)'s pain was adsorbed by his dog which manifested into physical sickness for the dog(diabetes)
About Matt's Dog. The Drummer is Alex Bent. The guy is outstanding and is one of the best in this genre.Definitely with other great metal drummers. Check out The sin and the sentence.
I think of it more as a transference of sickness, a sickness like depression. Looking at it most purely from the lyrics, it seems whoever they're writing it from the perspective of lost the person they loved, and they couldn't deal with it, so when they finally gave in and took their own life or whatever happened, that sickness passed on to their loved ones. I can personally vouch for having lost someone I loved and have suffered the endless "What if" and "why" thoughts and thoughts of joining her that pop up, but I made a promise to never take my own life so that I didn't incur endless "why?"s and "what if?"s on the people I have around me.
Can you guys please do "Until The World Goes Cold" and "Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr" by Trivium, as well as "Soak Me in Bleach" and "Drag the Lake" by the Amity Affliction?
I disagree, for me Embers up to and including Shogun was S tier, In Waves was A tier, then they dropped to kind of shit tear for a few albums, TSATS was A tier, and WTDMS = S tier again. I think that while the earlier albums have something special about them, it's painfully obvious how much worse Matt was at singing back then, and musically it was a lot more simplistic across the board. I think WTDMS is a good amalgamation of most of the good things about Trivium, while showing off their experience, improved skills at their instruments and singing, and ability to write better now. Alex was a huge edition to the band, also. It's a meme that Trivium always had bad drummers, for a reason.
Matt Heafy the singer and one of the guitarists had to get his dog who he loved so much put down and he was holdind his dog in his arms as he passed over.
Tragic ass song. You can interpret the music as pain and trying to cope especially during the guitar solos and the final breakdown before the last chorus. The chorus essentially demands the listener to take the sickness from the speaker. They give in. So now it’s your problem. Cheers!
Hi i love y'all videos, can you react to Rafa2reall- missing myself he is a up coming rapper and i dont know much about him but his music his great and show him some support.
This song is about Matt's (singer) dog after he had to get it put down.
I know how he feels my mums dog passed away 3 weeks ago his name was butch who was apart of my family for 14 years
Alex Bent and Mario Duplantier are my absolute favorite modern Metal drummers, completely next level stuff.
Alex's cymbal work and fills are so impeccable
More Trivium please!!! You guys should check out the song shogun by them. 😉
Shogun isn't fair to the other metal bands
Gunshot to the head until the world goes cold down from the sky throes of perdition in waves strife silence in the snow blind leading the blind would love trash talkers to react to those trivium songs
Yup
This is a fantastic song. Written about the lead singer having to deal with putting his dog down that he was really close to. Listen to it again now that you know the meaning. Great reaction guys!
as someone who had to put my dog of 14yrs down this song hits too close to home, mans best friend is an understatement.
I have been waiting for you guys to do Trivium. Sin and the Sentence, In Waves, What Dead Men Say. Tbh Trivium is pretty damn good. I hope you guys do more vids on these dudes
You have opened up the gates of Trivium! Welcome! You might as well do this whole album!

Love that song!
I'd heard that moths go after lights because they use moonlight to navigate.
You heard correct. Our artificial light fucks with their natural ability to navigate using the moon.
Definitely worth watching some of the Drummer's playthroughs of his songs. His playthrough of Betrayer on his channel is phenomenal
If we are doing Trivium we need to do some Stratovarius 😁
these guys rock live! definitely a rabbit hole to be explored further. Keep on rockin in the free world guys!

There older albums are better, Embers to the Inferno, Ascendency, The Crusade, Shogun. Any song off those albums you won’t regret.
The older albums are 🔥 but TSATS and WTDMS are the best of old Trivium and new Trivium! Shogun is still their best album though!

Yo do babe yago bros. Good reaction
Alex Bent is the best metal drummer in the world, actually! No doubt!
Tragic ass song. You can interpret the music as pain and trying to cope especially during the guitar solos and the final breakdown before the last chorus. The chorus essentially demands the listener to take the sickness from the speaker. They give in. So now it’s your problem. Cheers!
