We drive into Port Louis and head for the uptown area. The paid parking was full, so we plucked up the courage and bought zone 2 tickets, and parked on the street. We show you how to do this really cheap way to park in Port Louis Mauritius.

So happy YOU drove us to the capital in all that traffic. Lovely clean streets and great there are trees. Do pedestrians get fined for not using the crossings? Parking space seems to be in limited supply there or do you have multi-storey parking in places?

Very clear video. Nice to see the streets of PL again. I was too young to drive when I left. Here we have large roads and only traffic lights (no cops) and large roundabouts. The worst thing would be if you miss an exit going in or out of freeways as you may increase your journey by 30 minutes. Recently one guy hesitated and stayed in a fork trying to avoid a toll road and caused an accident and someone died.

I don't think they can make the roads any larger, I think that is why they are trying to bring the Metro in.
