- We drive from the Orchard center in Quatre Bornes Mauritius to the Plaza in Rose Hill. We when past the new Metro Express track that is still being built, down next to Saint Jean cathedral through, what we think is Rose Belle, and into Rose Hill. We ended the adventure at the Plaza because they were having a Diwali festive.

That road at St Jean next to the church and cemetery used to be so scary to drive by as a kid at night, it was always super dark and there was stories of this white ghost lady that would appear out of nowhere walking along that stone wall hehe.
It was Halloween when we drove past, but still light
I remember those stories, 😱
The most recent creepy sighting is a car caught speeding near the cemetery by a fixed speeding camera, it was revealed later that the owner driver had died 24 hours before the time of infringement.

I know all these places very well. Well what can I tell you about Belle Rose? I can tell you that I used to like a girl who used to live there. She had these beautiful green eyes and I used to venture to the river opposite that school. For me this was one of the best vids as you brought back so many many many memories. Thanks for sharing.

Super U is still in Quatre Bornes . Because Ébène and Belle Rose are part of Quatre Bornes . Rose Hill starts at Boundary Road

5:23 The Shell petrol station at St Jean, is notoriously known to be haunted. Here are some comments from other paranormal forums:
The filling station at Belle-Rose, I heard some creepy stories about it.
Really I did not know. So the story is : there is a far away relative who used to worked there and do night shifts. He was a brilliant student and did it to earn some additional cash. One night he saw and heard something that scared him for life. He then had a depression and now can't do anything(talk,eat,drink) without assistance.
You're right, I've heard the 1991 official Shell Petroleum Mauritius calendar had pictures of their petrol stations that included the one at BELLE-ROSE which captured a highly visible ghostly figure at the front of the premises.
Interesting, we had no idea, I have now checked the footage, but no ghost
