French songs are heart breaking yet heart warming.French songs are sad yet very,very uplifting.There's just something about them that makes me sad but not the kind of sadness that brings you down.Instead they make you feel like you have to do more and better in life.One thing for sure,french songs are the very meaning of elegance.
just wanted to add that the singer of the second one lost her parents at respectively 16 and 17 (just one year apart…), so the song is dedicated to them, she speaks to them into ( « si t’étais là » means « if you were there »)
it makes the song (and the playlist) even more sad though
French sounds so elegant, and yet so beautiful. French songs always sound so exotic yet charming and is my favorite type of music.
