The rythmic guitar player has a military background cause it was his whole life. Both his parents were in the military so he grew up in a military base

Zoltan is an MMA fighter, also does hand to hand combat training for the military. He is truly a BADASS! Also writes all the riffs for the band, actually it is HIS band. His winnings from MMA fighting is what financed the band and where the name 5FDP came from.

Five Finger Death Punch has helped me over the years as so many bands have over the years I was abused by an ex girl friend and a lot of songs that came out during that time will I am not ever going to get over the fact of being abused.But a lot songs helped me.These songs along with support from family and friends keep me going 2018 I was in fight for my life diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer I am 3 years cancer free.

I'm not a huge FFDP fan but I respect what they've all accomplished.
That being said, Psycho Sexual sounds like it was out of 2009 with musicians that just had ideas, and no working knowledge of how to music.

He said LIVE in concert 4 months ago after bringing his kids on stage that they are making ONE more album and then he is retiring to spend more time with his kids. Touring takes him away and after getting sober 5 years ago he’s ready to make up for all the time he missed out on when they were little. They need their Dad now. I respect him for it and I’m so glad I’m seeing them with Metallica in November before he retires.

One thing I've always loved about Ivan is his humility. He is one of the most humble metal artist I've ever seen. Lots of respect for him, his music has been an impact on so many people. I hope he continues to inspire people like he did me.

I'm a huge FFDP fan, have been from the very beginning, I finally seen them live back in January and honestly (other than KISS) they was absolutely amazing and one of the best bands to see live, so what ever Ivan decides to do im sure ill love that too!! I am also a FFDP fan🤘. I got to see FFDP live at Mayhem festival when they co-headlined with Rob Zombie back in 2013. They are bada$$ when seeing their concert in person.

I saw 5fdp for my birthday last year and Ivan was celebrating his daughter's bday on stage with her. It was simply an electrifying concert from beginning to end. Band was tight, Ivan gave soul wrenching, powerful, emotional vocals. Just golden performances. The Best!

Ffdp got me into metal. I've been a metalhead for over a decade. I'm mostly into Technical death metal, extreme metal, and dsbm. I don't really listen to ffdp anymore. I don't hate them, but they were just an entry band for me from hard rock to metal. I really loved F8 though. Great album. I listen to Archspire, Cattle Decapitation, Revocation, Cradle of filth, Periphery, Meshuggah, After the burial, Veil of maya, Korn etc... all because Ffdp is how I got into metal. I've been listening to all the other bands I mentioned for over a decade now

You might like cypercore. They're a lot like gojira and honestly very underrated. Some of their new stuff is very technical and has hints of math rock/progressive.

@@musicalmusic3353 lemme just fix this. Chester Bennington. Chino Moreno. Maynard from TOOL. Even Oli Sykes is better live nowadays. There's loads. Then you've got vocalists in subgenres of metal who also blow him out of the water, like Marcus Bridge, Thornhills vocalist, Loathes vocalist... and so on. Ivan has a great voice but it's not something phenomenal, it's just really good.

5FDP is the shit!!! Not many can come close to Ivan's voice. Psycho sexual was not impressive and is definitely not the same caliber of music as 5FDP. Can't wait for a new album since they all are great!
