    very good video
i am chipping in with one clarification (guessing some of you may have these doubts)
@ 6:04 .... the 5% loss is the frictional loss when water travels through a pipe of 1km length (this will vary with material and dimension of pipe)
let me explain further: this is not leakage loss (as some of you may assume)
In a friction-less pipe to get an output of 8.4 liter per sec you have to pump out at 8.4 liter; but when you consider friction you will have to pump out at a slightly higher rate (thumb rule: add 5% for very km of water traveling through the pipe)
P.S: Pls feel to correct if i am wrong in my interpretation or explanation

    Dear
    1. It's 55 + losses which makes it 70 lpcd for jjm
    2. Source is checked for 30 years
    3. All components except Pump is designed for 20 years, while pump is for 10 years.
    4. Construction period is taken as 2 years
