So, two totally different pulling beasts, but both cool as hell!

That lopey sound is from lots of fuel, like a whole bunch, and then some. Puttin a bigger cam in a diesel doesn't make the lopey idle whereas puttin a bigger cam in a V8 does

Diesel is actually better for the environment than gasoline. Diesel fumes has a higher oil content than gasoline fumes. Majority of the diesel fumes will eventually return back to earth unlike the gasoline fumes.
