I like how he screams to scare Duncan off. I see it as him trying to stop Duncan from crossing the bridge in a foggy night, and making the same mistake he did.
So that was how the little engine ended up in his death on the old iron bridge, the engine was the same engine owned by the Crovan’s Gate Mining company, Skarloey and Rheneas never knew his name nor his number because he kept in silence to himself and the only time they see him was when he would bring loaded slate trucks down from the quarry and shunted it on the back of their trains
Poor Fletcher, the fog invaded and prevented him from seeing anything causing him to fall off the bridge into the swamps below. Love how you added, Duncan into the next scene 98 years later after the accident took place, and Fletcher appears once again on Halloween 31, this au shows that rusty' storytelling of the engine was real and Duncan wasn't imagining it at all. Tremendous job on this.
