Awesome, I did this on myself to find out the reason behind my heel numbness (lasted a week post tibia nail surgery) and by some miracle it fixed my symptom and the pain I had when touching one specific spot. No idea why that worked (or how long it will last) but not complaining lol.

I was experiencing minimal pain in this area and inadvertently performed this exact test while trying to locate the pain. Pressing down on this location resulted in shrieking pain that hasn’t gone away since. It’s as if pressing down on it actually caused further damage. I don’t know. So be careful doing this.
Can you do this to yourself or is it better to have someone do it to you as you are relaxed?
