    I haven't done hand embroidery for quite a while. Charity has lit a fire in my heart to take it up again. Thank you.

    Enjoyed listening to Charity today. I don’t like a lot of those blank squares in quilts but never thought of doing embroidery in them. And the houses all became individual homes. Thanks Charity you did well.💐

    Hello Charity, what a great video today showcasing embroidery on quilt tops. I love your sequence of how you showed, doing each step. This can make quilts so special. Looking forward to the next video Hopefully you will show other stitches?

    How exciting. I haven't embroidered since my 20s (40+ years ago). Now I'm thinking why 'knot'.😂 Great job Charity and have a wonderful week. 🎶💐💖

    Such an awesome video. Great clear explanations, good visual examples, and great camera work. I've wanted to embroider on my quilts but wasn't sure how. As a cross stitcher as well, I tried adding that to my quilts and it just didn't work well. I am definitely going to do this. Thank you! I'm looking forward to getting started.

    Love that you are showing this! I use my embroidery machine, however you have to have more than 1 yard. Using the machine if heavy embroidery the fabric shrinks. I do not do by hand anymore, more power to all of you that do🎉

    Have problems finding iron on designes i like. Could you use coloring books draw your own or what ever fo designes. What of taky yardage don't cut but make uniform squairs or retangles. Thedesign each one and embroider each cut apart sash back together or make a quilt block to put them back together. Thanks you gave me so many things to think on. Where to start. Your beautiful as well as smart. Thank you

    Wasn't sure if I'd be interested in this but it was actually very informative. Really good to have different ways of transferring the design as well as showing some basic embroidery stitches. Good to know what is available. Thanks, Charity 👍😊

    Great tutorial, Charity! I have a question, though: what did you mean when you said your quilt shredded when you washed it? I’m new to quilting, so I got a little confused on that part.

    • @helenaMe325
      @helenaMe325 Před 4 měsíci +2

      I think she meant that she washed the quilt top alone before sandwiching in order to wash off the transfer stuff before going further. So she is recommending that you DON'T! Finish the quilt, all quilting, binding etc and then wash as usual when the transfer material will then come off without disruption.

      Thank you for explaining, Helena. I was a little lost, too; but, after reading your comment, I think you are right... she washed the flimsy by itself.

    I've seen several tutorial why do none of them show the back side. Do you cut the thread each time to start the same color in a different place.
